There is no bill when I call cops and they come to take part in a shoot out and save my life but there’s a bill for thousands when I go to doctor to have myself taken care of from a flu or dehydrated.
No matter what extent a cop has to risk themselves or how many bullets they fired and artillery they brought I don’t pay anything. From shooting, to rescue operations and to bringing swat teams services as well as helicopters I don’t pay.
Secondly when a fire fighter comes and puts the fire at my house with tons of water and numerous salaried firemen on a very expensive truck with top tier equipment I don’t pay anything. Also when they come and save me from being stuck in a hole I don’t pay anything or use jaws of life to take me out of car in an accident I don’t pay anything. All these things are very expensive.

You can't easily have private police but you can easily have private doctors. Police, Fire department, highway system are example of public goods where it doesn't make sense to make it private. Look up private goods in an economics text book and you'll understand what the difference is from normal goods and services. You can have private insurance for other things, there is no reason why you can't have private insurance for medical services. If you can't afford the medical services you don't get to use them.
If you're thinking that medical services are very expensive it's because of the government intervention that restricts supply. It also makes the services free for the old and very poor. So the people in the middle get to pay for that with a surcharge. When you make the service free it will be over utilize it. Old people that spend months in the hospital when they could just as good die at home cost a lot of money.

Here in goymany we have a private and public health insurance. While doctors prefer the private insurance because it covers more treatments that simply arent needed the public health insurance is mandated to remain at a certain rate corresponding with the amount of times the insurance had to pay over time. Essentially if the US introduced a government health care plan that is restricted to a market cap they could bring down health care costs. At the moment procurement is the biggest extra cost because of the insane corruption which is also why nothing will change anytime soon.
Making healthcare into a business makes it about business and not healthcare. Healthcare in USA is not a public good.

Taxes. The cops and firemen are paid to save you via taxes. Doctors and hospitals continue to operate via payments by you or your insurance company. I don't know what the tax rates are in Canada or the U.K., but if you think that their socialized medicine is FREE just because you have no out of costs at the time of treatment, they're paying for it everyday of their life, even when not being treated, because of taxes.
