Yes and no. When the people are unhappy they should use force to rebalance the power as they see fit. We live in a society where the amount of force that can be mustered by powerful people is wholly out of proportion to the amount of force the people can muster. We're at a point either by accident or design where the only way to rebalance power is to talk it out, only people don't give away their power when confronted with logical arguments for a better society. This means we have to talk really loudly and from positions of power, only the positions of power are bought by the people with power and the methods of speaking really loudly are suppressed with reactive force. Even if we overcame these obstacles the people with power would simply re-demarcate the definition of power by printing money or something, turning all the newly made millionaires in to average people with a loaf of bread costing 10,000 NewCurrencyTM and putting the current powers back to owning the same amount of currency relative to everyone else.

The only solution is to destroy the system and build a new one then either allow the current powerful people to join it, either punitively as poor people/slaves, reasonably as average, powerful as a concession to them not dropping nukes or to rebuke them and let them eat each other over the now worthless currency. Nobody will though, people want to be enslaved because iPhone apps release dopamine apps without having to work for it.

Depends on where you live. Some places in the US you will receive a bill after the incident. Also they will charge you with a crime (negligence) and you will receive a bill from the city/county/state depending on the type of property damage. It's normally at the officials responding to the call discretion to turn it in. Normally it's covered by city/county/state insurance. (Like if you get in a single vehicle accident and take out some guard rail) but the cop can be an asshole or his supervisor can be, or whoever makes the rules can be and make you pay for it. Your house burns and a paid fire department comes in- that is normally covered in your property taxes. You pay a higher property tax than people with volunteer fire departments (my property tax is less than $1000 a year and that is with 6 buildings with roofs on my property (which is how they increase your property tax in my area- how many roofs on a property). I don't have paid firefighters, my schools (that I don't use) are decent in my area, but I still pay those taxes even though I don't utilize that benefit, just like how I don't use free public transportation that is offered to the indigent and elderly with a bus, that goes to the local town every day once a day and paid for with my taxes. On the health care BS you bring up- The US never needed socialized healthcare. We had a working system- Get a decent job (above minimum wage) you will get decent healthcare insurance. If you are indigent, you can get on welfare, which gives you a 100 percent medical insurance. If you are lazy and nothing is wrong with you, then you will not get it. Get your lazy ass out and get a fucking job.
