Car dealerships is the sleaziest place on the planet. You are taught to lie to customers, taught ways to present car so scratches and dents don’t show, taught how to explain bad damage on a car on reports to sound ok with lies etc. Taught to not put things in writing or text so customers can’t come after you.

T. Former car salesmen

Just buy your car off street and get it inspected before make transaction

I sold my car last year, only using carsharing services occasionally. No need for a car in Munich. I make my shopping on a bicycle, don't need much anyways.

but how do you avoid the niggers?

feel like this is beating a dead horse but absolutely true.
I wish I could just buy direct from manufacturer

more like STEALership am I right

I get my car repaired at a local garage that is owned and operated by one Iranian guy. He does good work for a good price.

Dealerships are a fucking scam.

electronic everything
>turn the radio up on the touchscreen, sprays washer fluid on my rear window

You can, it's called the dealership.

one of the biggest scams in our era.
>buy a new car
>dealership knows what pieces will break first
>dealership knows said parts are not on warranty.
>you are contractually obliged to get "service" on a timeline in order to ensure that the dealership has a perk to become a franchise.

It is a legal scam

My ass nigger. JewTube how-tos is all I'll ever need.

The nigger problem is an exclusive problem of all major cities in the West. You need to man up and learn to deal with it.

dealerships aren't the manufacturer. 2 completely separate companies.
this is why Tesla is getting so much shit. they sell direct

cars in the past had no warranty at all and were lucky to make it to 100k miles

I have a Japanese truck. What repairs? Damn thing never breaks.

You can go to auctions. That’s direct. Every car that isn’t a trade came from an auction at a used car dealer

Lol Slovenia
Lol Czech republic
Lol Poland (but they are the same as Niggers anyway)

ah, but you have failed to identify the most egregious crime of all

The rack and pinion scam. Some companies (whom get incentives from hiring ex-criminals and students for tax free breaks) are legally allowed to refurbish said components that are compatible with new cars with a little machining

So, you believe they are giving you an authentic part for your car but it is nothing but a fraud

I'm talking filling out a form, sending it to the manufacturer and a few months later a car built to your exact specifications gets dropped off at your house.

>No need for a car in Munich
must be nice

I would love this. Hate how we have to buy from a dealership that just marks up and at best sits in the car with you so you can test drive.

if you buy direct from the manufacturer you pay full MSRP they have zero incentive to offer discounts or extra perks

One of the biggest annoyances is how they only sell features in “packages.” So if you want leather seats, you have to buy the luxury package for 3 grand which comes with a bunch of other stuff you may not want. Want a nicer stereo? Well then you need the “technology “ package for 4 grand which comes with blinkers on your side view mirror. Such a scam

Buy a chilton book on your make and model and do the repair/maintenance yourself on a saturday, it's cheaper, anyone can do it and it will do wonders for your self esteem.

>they are going to stop a production line to make your specific combination

It's called "have it your way" and even Burger King can do it

My car from the 60s had over 1000 options and guess what its a fucking nightmare to work on and find parts for

that's fine. the only thing I expect is a vehicle built exactly how I want with 0 miles on it.

the current business model of pumping out cars to pump out cars is fucking retarded and needs to die.

Attached: cars-1-2.jpg (700x435, 46K)

I bought both of the cars I've owned at dealerships and haven't gotten screwed yet.

First one was an Sentra SE-R owned by the son of the dealership's head mechanic. Got a great deal on it and had no major issues until years later.

The car I recently bought was an FR-S. Bought it certified pre-owned, so it has a decent 10-year warranty. The salesman was a fucking shithead but I still feel like I got a decent deal. No issues with this one either - I just bring it to my local Toyota dealership for oil changes and shit.

Long story short:
>Buy Japanese
>Do your research
>Have it checked out by a third-party mechanic before buying - use anything they find as leverage
>Pay with cash, fuck financing

t. proud sufferer of atrophied nanopenis

looking for a used car now, probably a 370z because corvettes and porsches are too expensive in australia... it will be the first time i have bought something new-ish and fast-ish.
the used dealership prices are almost TWICE the price of equivalent trading post / ebay prices.

a lincoln?

Got a great deal on a 2006 BMW 7 series with 140,000 miles, picking it up on Friday. Only paying £2600 for it! Looking forward to enjoying some sweet German engineering lads.

I just had a dealer trying to sell me a used engine for $7,000, before labor.....when I can find the same used engine for 2000 on eBay. A local mechanic acquired engine for me and with labor cost me $3,000.

its worth it.
the same car would cost $25k+ in australia.

worst case scenario, the engine blows up and you sell it to the wreckers for $1k.

Attached: 1560641016112.jpg (234x215, 6K)

Its gonna be a moneypit. Buying old used euro cars with high miles is a bad idea but parts are probably cheaper in the uk

bait or you are retarded especially if its a 745
see pic related for the generation of 7er you should have bought instead.

also OP is a faggot. dealers charge high rates, sure, but if you are concerned about resale value or shoddy work, then taking it to the dealer for service and repairs is the way to go. or at least a specialty shop for that brand. usually it doesnt matter very much though unless the shop you take it to is a beaner ran shithole.
also this has nothing to do with politics

Attached: bmw-e38.jpg (1600x1200, 640K)

gay car dont do it

i want a new-ish car and there is no good alternative for a decent price in australia.
new-ish (2000s) corvettes and mustangs are $30k minimum.
996 porsche 911s are $40k minimum.

I always see Americans shitting on German cars, here they are regarded as the best. Jap cars are for poor people.

The local Subaru dealer does 4 wheel alignments for 70 bucks and for some reason independent shops never get the back done right.

Dealers often have coupons for 19-30 oil changes and will use oem oil and gears.

Their coolant flushes are often in sale for about 120 the same price a independent shop will charge

They often do brake job specials too.

I depends on what you're doing.

in australia we call BMW 'wog chariots'.

Attached: 14128911_654345418056484_810405189_n.jpg (480x480, 65K)

non-dealerships arent better. my dealer wanted to fix my transmission and fuel lines for $400 so i went to other places. one said $680 and i got it done at a guy who did $140 but it broke a month later because he put on whatever brand tubes. went to dealership got it fixed no problems since.

i understand some are jewish and want to charge $300 for new window trim but important things should always be done at the dealer

Attached: blue8.png (457x344, 215K)

Honestly I trust dealer ships more because if they fuck up, they will fix it. If a independent mechanic fucks your shit up and you can't prove it, you are fucked and are now trapped in a impossible court case or some shit. Its hard to find honest solo mechanics.

Also dealerships can always get a part easily for your car. Don't have to worry about some mechanic slapping some shit together or frakensteining some shit. I will admit though that if you get a GOOD HONEST SOLO MECHANIC or find a good honest car and body shop, then you will be better off probably. But thats hard. People say stealer ship but its for real the best option if you don't know anyone.

So you give them you're wallet and apologize for being capable of going to a job. Good play Hans.

they often dont know what they are talking about. im not shitting on them im just telling you that those 7 series from 2002-2008ish are garbage and will be a money pit. im not sure all the engines that are offered there but if its a 6 cylinder then its not so bad.
what do you call holdens?

Attached: bmw-m5-e34-1993-292382.jpg (2048x1536, 713K)

Lol in Europe and Japan you don't have to put up with the packages and they are made in the same line.

>Good buds with a mechanic at my local Goyota dealership
>Get my oil change done for just the cost of oil, no labor
>Get any minor things I need done free of charge
You just gotta know someone at a dealership. Even knowing a salesman can get you a massive discount off of garage work.

Attached: 1546992607455.png (800x600, 500K)

Just get a Lexus IS I love mine and didn't pay a penny for it

2000 mustang has no value as the corvette does, probably like 3k for the ford and 10k for the chevy in the us

I work in a dealership. Most of the paranoid rambling in this thread is inaccurate at best. Getting your vehicle serviced at a dealership keeps your warranties intact, they immediately see and fix recalled parts, even the work itself has warranty. Where i work there is a 12 month 12k mile warranty on literally any mechanical fix. We bend over backwards to help customers and do what we can to maintain a loyal customer base. Yes our prices are higher because there is a higher overhead, more mouths to feed. We get so many Fuck ups from independent shops it's insane to think people bring their expensive European cars to podunk mom and pop shops for repairs without specialty tools. Makes me cringe.

>370
Don't do it bro. And this is coming from a Nissan fan. It's heavy as fuck and looks pretty gay (the 350 looked better imo).

My advice: get an Infinity G37x sedan if you guys have them in Straya. They're far more practical, have the same engine as the 370, and have a kickass AWD system. I considered getting a used one back when I needed a car, but they were just out of my price range.

Attached: IMG_5016.jpg (2592x1728, 1.03M)

You are right.

I have two Mercedes. The dealership lied like a bunch of fucking kikes saying that german cars need to be repaired at the dealer. The fucks wanted me to buy several warranties. I work on the cars myself and if its something out of my reach I go to a trusted shop.

you're a millennial npc if you buy a vehicle you can't fix yourself

2000s is newish?
there are a lot better cars out there, nissans after the 90s are for fags

I ordered my CLS 550 straight from Mercedes. The dealership programmed it and I was good to go.

just holdens.
but they are notorious poor people / criminal scum cars.

this if anything

>I work in a dealership
Stopped reading

Fuck off, German, Italian, or British cars only.

I negociated with the dealership for our car to include leather seats in our base model. They paid for us to have it upholstered

>(((specialty tools)))

Attached: 1558289068576.jpg (1004x1024, 105K)

you can buy direct
for example, porsche and bmw offer european delivery programs where you can fly out and pick up your custom vehicle from the factory, even inspect your vehicle as it is being made. but also there is much more included in that process. i believe some other brands offer this but not as extensively

this

Every new car gets driven off the assembly line into a shipping container or on a trailer that is used to transport it overseas or directly to a dealership. Usually about 2-4 miles long. They could directly load the cars off the line into a shipping container but they drive them for a little for quality control sakes. No new car is really truly "new" by the time it makes its way to the consumer after the number of test drives the cars probably been out on.

Buy Toyota. The new generation of CVTs suck ass except for Toyota. Also, fuck Subaru and their shitty headgaskets and shitty AWD.

What cars and trucks last forever? I’ve heard Honda Accords, Toyota trucks, Honda CRVs, and most Subaru’s drive forever.

My vehicles have always been Chevy’s because they seem very easy to work on and repair and replacement parts are fairly inexpensive. Secondary systems like brakes and air conditioning seem to be what falls apart in the life of the vehicle while the power train lasts.

>having a car
Good goy

>using OEM filters and oil
Its almost like you're trying to kill your car

Always use a higher end fully synthetic high millage oil and a high quality filter. Change every 3500 miles.

>T. 09 Crown vic owner with 350k miles on the OD and 10k hours of idle time.

you're right, dealership where I bought my used car actually identified and fixed my problem with a certified japanese toyota specialist as opposed to a mom and pop shop with a bunch of amateur illegals who specialize in hydraulic lowriding, they charged me for the inspection too which was supposed to be included in the repair cost, I was going to sue their ass but fuck it I worked off their scam instead of wasting my time, slimy pricks

Audicare for my S4 is only $1000 for every service for 5 years, it's actually not a bad value at all. An oil change for this thing costs $175 anyway and I'm sure a prospective future buyer would love to see it.

Attached: Truck Kun.png (1500x4141, 3.72M)

also guys it's better to pay the depreciation and buy a brand new base trim car and drive it until its warranty expires than to deal with repairing, yo u can get payments in the $300 a month and just trade in its residual value when the powertrain warranty is ending for similar payments at zero APR

many different cars from different brands. it depends on how you take care of it. this relates to my other post in regards to taking your car to the dealership for service. it will be maintained properly and will last much longer. mostly chevy/gm, honda/acura, toyota/lexus, mercedes, etc...but yes some components usually will fail but the engines will always keep going without internal repairs needed

Attached: hitlermb130h.jpg (1200x675, 104K)

>Man up and take the influx of niggers right up your manly asshole, goynon.

>ah, but you have failed to identify the most egregious crime of all

I was thinking of the financing a rapidly depreciating asset jew.

Attached: 1452354759138.png (501x648, 208K)

That's why the Toyobarus are the ultimate big brain car.
>Subaru build quality and reliability
>Toyota looks
>Co-designed engine, so less head gasket issues
I love mine. It's not the most practical car, but it sips fuel, is fun to drive, and looks great. I'd buy them again and again if I could, but I know they're all going to get beat to shit and go exinct like the 240.

Attached: 4CA4F343-DAC4-4829-BA3C-96C624D0F551.jpg (756x567, 220K)

usually genuine filters are the best, aftermarket are usually made with lesser quality (less filtration) but there are some "performance" aftermarket filters out there that are ideal to use opposed to genuine.
changing your oil that frequently is the reason the engine lasts so long. especially using synthetic.

But where do I put my fishing poles?

so you are already aware of the deeper level scams LOL
The ones most brainwashed goyim don't even thing about cause they are thinking about "next year's model"

>An oil change for this thing costs $175
lmao. imagine being this gullible

You're implying I didn't know what I was doing before I bought it lol

Everyone is going to be so fucked when they have to try and fix their fancy Tesla. Hope you know how to bypass the proprietary software security.

17 year old Toyota. It might need a litre of oil every other gas change, but fuck it, it's cheap and easy to fix if you know how to use google.

Location? Moving to Manchester in two months, will need to pick up a ride

autotrader.co.uk/

You will find good cheap used cars in Manchester

>Change every 3500 miles.

Yeah fuck that. I use Amsoil signature series and their filter in my Tundra and change it once a year. They guarantee it for 25000 miles or 1 year.

Ta

Originally Gloucester here, but didn't think you could find that cheep on autotrader

based scumposter

My two cents: I've owned 4 vehicles in my life
The first was a stock 96' Chevy Blazer daily driver that I bought from a family friend. I ran it ragged for 6 years until I finally bent the frame on the mud flats, bought for $3500.
The second was a 97' Chevy Blazer that I bought for $800, died 5 months later when it blew a headgasket.
Thirdly I bought a used 2010 Ford Focus LE for $15,000 at a dealership, ran well, no problems but sold it to my brother.
Now I own a 2003 Chevy Blazer that I paid too much for ($3500) and am probably into it for $6000 at this point with new tires etc and frame repair after going too hard offroad.

tl;dr If you want a reliable vehicle go buy one from a dealership or single driver family friend who knows that they are about.
Never buy brand new.
I enjoy fixing all of the little things on the Chevys since they are so easy to work on and find parts for. Updoot and enjoy my blog
