Belsen Belsen was the Brits fault . Germans agreed to surrender and all left but 2 doctors and no food . Brits failed to take possession as agreed for 2 weeks .

You don't seem to be familiar with the story. at the end of the war , epople where transported from one concentration camp to another. For example Ellie Wiesel was transported FROM Auschwitz to the West. Anne Franks father was int he Aushwitz hospital when the Soviets arrived.

Several reasons. All the prisoners are potential eye witnesses to the horrors of these camps. They were taken so they wouldn't testify against them in court which would eventually happen since the nazis were on the brink of losing the war . Secondly, Himmler wanted to use them as bargaining chips. They were also used as hostages in a way.

But the jist of it is, essentially if 6 death camps total running continuously for 4 years each camp with 30 ovens, spending one hour cremating per corpse. You'll be able to cremate just over 6 million.

Imagine loading people up onto a train and taking them miles away to a small compound where you tattoo them to keep records of livelihood and shave them to prevent lice. All, with the goal in mind to trick them into thinking that the "gas chamber" you built is just a regular shower. . . . Then, when the shower head spits out water, instead of shooting these people, you transfer them to another camp. Imagine women giving birth in "death camps." It's so silly.

Ok, even if you take into account the cremation rates of corpses, the fact that auschwitz was expanded in the middle of the war the cremation stats still work out.
