The funny thing about infinitely inflating house prices, is that eventually the average person doesn't have anywhere near enough money to reasonably afford one within their life time (or make rent), which is where we've been at for several years now. Of course it'll crash, all markets exist in a series of boom and busts, it's just the government has engineered the climate with perpetual migration to prop up the saturated market as a sign of positive growth to try and coax foreigners to invest in our country, since we have a weak domestic market after being deindustrialized over the past two decades.
