red chinas gdp per capita and living standards have been improving massively since it's liberalization after maos death. In fact, actual China, exiled to Taiwan, implements and has implemented a more radical form of capitalism from the start and didn't have to force it's farmers to product iron in their backyards, thereby having way faster growth and standard of living despite their lack of resource.
