If you really are nervous, you can test whether or not its phoning to google using wireshark, or firewall all google websites for that program I prefer iridium over pale moon because it's faster and can use chrome extensions, and is faster, however pale moon has a better reputation for respecting it's users privacy, and i believe has been around for longer, though im not sure.
I don't like their name, I really dont. Always confuse it with Bitch route, seriously, but we shouldn't just chose 1 alternative platform. I think that both have the advantage by not being YT. I want to open a YT chanel as a hobby. Because I don't care about making money off of it I think I will open the same channel on all 3. I do want to speak my mind and maybe change a few normie's minds so I was thinking that YT is a way to go because, traffic. What I will do is do all 3 and after some time compare the results. As I said Idgas if it makes me money but would like to reach an audience, an audience that doesn't have to pay for it.

Not a troll. I seriously don't like their name. Nothing wrong with it. I did not say that they provide a bad service, quite the opposite. I also don't think that 1 alternative platform will take over YT. Internet should stop being as centralized as it is. The government created monopolies like Google (and by extension YT) should die. I don't believe that we need huge social platforms that offer everything. I like Gab because it's so political, not inspite of it. People complain that Gab is about the politics and yet I like it because of it. Same with streamers: why can't we have a small-ish, political platform that caters to the political crowd, or gamers, or furries? As it is pornhub is starting to host political channels as well as porn, which is pretty damn weird. They should just be a porn platform, not tey and morph into something that they are not. Right now, for example I have trouble finding unbiased news, I would love for 1 streamer to stream people who reported news and have a commentary from both sides, as it is everyone is trying to do everything because the giants are doing it and people expect it (I guess). Why not decentralize?
