Limes?

I’ve never actually seen a kumquat in person before

No. They're also 10x smaller.

The alternative to the Orange is the mandarin. Easier to peel as well as more drought tolerant

Have some pics here.

Question is Yellow Dragon Disease.

Completely different flavor profile. But how hardy do you need it to be? You might want to look into some hardy mandarins like suggested. I would look into frost owari satsuma.

Wonder what the Nippon Orangequat is like? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orangequat

Can't eat them because medication interference.

Seems like it would be bitter and sour.

i would be much obliged if some one could tell me the coldest the Australian desert lime can withstand
is it more cold hardy than trifolate orange?

Invented by Dr. Eugene May. It was a sour and bitter creation but somehow became popular in the South. My future Secret Citrus would be much nicer.

don't forget to sow your fall seeds Jow Forums
