Another user posted a thread but it got archived before I could respond. I fixed California. Map was made based largely on whether the county is more "rural" or "city".
Several "blue-leaning" counties were added in to the red area because the lines made more sense and they had massive rural areas (i.e. San Benito county - while it is a blue county, has Hollister which is largely rural, King City which is where cowboys go to retire, etc, so a better "cultural" fit for red California than blue California).
Unfortunately I had to surrender several traditionally agricultural/rural areas like Monterey and San Louis Obispo counties so commiefornia would make sense as an independent state.
After this post I will post templates so you guys can make changes.

And the central valley from stanislaus county to kern count....full of illegals. I worked as a paramedic in the central valley. The stuff i saw out there was crazy.

Because what you think of as "Californians" is actually just a small sliver of coastline while the rest of the state is practically like Arizona or Idaho.
