A slightly delayed Question Time ventures to a little known place called "the North" this evening as Halifax in West Yorkshire hosts an hour of "discussion" in the first full week of Conservative leadership campaigning. A surprisingly Leave favouring panel has foreign cheese hater Liz Truss and decomposing veteran Labour MP Caroline Flint as the two politicians. Oddly haired head of Iceland Richard Walker, the Sun's Tom Newton Dunn and annoying Scottish bint Ayesha Hazarika complete your line-up.
#comfytime does NOT feature THE NEIL tonight as he has gone to the Middle East on holiday for a week. Instead, it's comedy newscaster Simon McCoy who becomes the final guest host of the show. Leggy Liz Kendall and her 4% first vote share joins McCoy and Choo Choo. Fat Guardian columnist Dawn Foster, Telegraph associate editor Camilala Tominey and frizzy-haired historian Kate Williams feature.
On QT (10:45pm - 11:45pm): >Fiona Bruce presents an hour of topical debate from Halifax. On the panel: Liz Truss MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Conservative; Caroline Flint MP, former shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Labour; Richard Walker, Managing Director of the frozen food chain, Iceland; Ayesha Hazarika, comedian, broadcaster and former adviser to Ed Miliband; and Tom Newton Dunn, Political Editor, The Sun newspaper.
On TW (11:45pm - 12:30am): >Guest presenter Simon McCoy reviews the political week with Michael Portillo, Liz Kendall and Miranda Green, while Camilla Tominey has the political headlines in a film. Dawn Foster looks at English nationalism and the future of the Union, while historian Kate Williams puts ‘out of control’ in the spotlight.
I think for once, this week looks like it may be worse than question time.

Don't have kids if you can't provide for them. Fucking birds build nest before they lay eggs. Even fish prepare a hatchery. Contraception. Relationships. Take some responsibility.
Ayden Hill
>maybe they shouldn't have had kids then
Also based point about big corp tax breaks by the lad
poverty is fucking meaningless, you can eat for pennies a day
Gavin Long
as much as it's easy to say "personal responibility" issue is that what 90% of this country can't really afford to have kids. how the fuck are we meant to keep a civiliation if we're having only ~10% of people having children
Angel Phillips
>have babies you can't afford >wahhh! Stacccie and Teresa can't afford nappies! Pay for them taxpayer pay!
Hunter Kelly
Watching >Graham throw Jezza under the bus in the recent committee Parliamentary hearings was jokes

I had an Alfa Giuelleta (sp) . 2 ltr diesel 70 mpg. Quite quick. Made you feel special in the good way when driving it. Dodgy build quality (the rubber around the windscreen came away) so a 16 plate will be about 10k. Got a Mazda 2 now basically a Fiesta. Like a washing machine. No personality but reliable and gets the job done.
Alexander James
Do you reckon Ed had a cheeky go on Ayesha?
Caleb Evans
>No Andrew Neil Why even bother

the undertone of this debate is nobody wants to pay tax but the poor want the rich to pay all the taxes the tax system is fucked we just need a flat rate tax of 10% and a governmetn that can spend within its means
Excellent Man, if only we'd betted and helped the hyrdrogen car industry
>Truss talking about Northern investment after they cancelled electrification of rails

The irony is the huge boost to business would probably mean more tax money for muh nhs but the left don't understand economics.

>Having men, women and unlimited immigrants all competing for work in a post-industrial economy built on consumerism Wow I wonder why people can't afford to buy property or have children
Anthony Walker
McCoy - Fair enough His daily 3-5pm show is ok I guess - hosts it with a whimsical detached sarcastic demeanor
Anthony Price
>90% of people can't afford to have kids
£35k a year could easily support a wife and two kids well enough to provide your children with all their supplies and a happy childhood, unless you were a sperg who built up ridiculous debts.
Carter Smith

also add credit and QE and mortgage policies
Noah Morris

the idea that simply lowing tax solves this problem is just as naive as thinking raising it won't have effects on business. it is a very complicated issue especially when a lot of businesse already get tax incentives on the basis of headquartering etc there. holy grim. if you're taking any benefits from the government you can't afford kids. If you can't afford to take kids around the world buy new clothes etc regularly you can't afford to have kids. There is enough suffering in the world already without people who can't afford to kids having them.
