Holocaust "denial" is a straw argument, we are saying that the holocaust was severely exaggerated. The Nazis rounded up a bunch of people, about half of them being Jews, put them to work in sketchy condition that caused some to die from disease or overexertion, and were stingy with their rations when the war created shortages and some died from malnutrition, and yes, some were summarily executed a few for various reasons, but gas was never used and there was no grand scheme to actually kill all the Jewish prisoners. The actual death toll was in the low hundreds of thousands, not millions.
We all know how hard it is to get reliable information even now, in 1945 Europe was in chaos and the information coming from a bunch of different and inconsistent sources was very hard to fact-check. Someone guessed that 2 million died, someone else said 3 million, and so on and newspapers were pretty quick to go with the highest estimate because that sells papers better and makes the war we just won look more justified. As for the claims of gas chambers, all of the 'death camps' were in Soviet territory after the war and the Soviets were even more serious about making the Nazis look bad to make their citizens okay with the 20 million young men they had lost in the war so they came out with a lot of ridiculous claims about the horrors that went on during the camps. These included: gas chambers, christmas trees of human skin, electric shock machines, "masturbation machines" and the Holocoaster.
Gas chambers were the most believable-sounding so that became the main narrative and the rest got pushed under the table. That's how this all worked, there was no 'evil meeting' to come up with a lie but rather a bunch of sketchy sources that said lots of crazy shit and the jewish media got to decide which claims to validate and which to ignore, and they either intentionally or subconsciously picked the ones that fit their needs.

So if they had been starving them before.... and hundreds of thousands died... what were they doing with the unfit to labour? Where did the hundreds of thousands of children thst were sent to the camps go? Auschwitz had 600 kids at liberation, almost all arrived in the last couple of months, after th gassings stopped. Where are the rest?

exactly, this guy fucking gets it. It wasn't the jews who started the holocaust story. It was American war propaganda. Jews later took it further and wrote books and made a bunch of movies about it.
