Language revival is never meant to be an attempt at remaking the language exactly as it was. There are modern words in the Hebrew vocabulary. It's an attempt to recreate Biblical Hebrew to be more modern, yet still qualifying as a Canaanite dialect.

Now the accents/pronounciation of Israelis can be said to be non-Semitic but that's not excuse for Palestinians to not be reviving another Canaanite dialect.
