I see Wyoming turning blue quickly due to the low population (less than 600,000). It'll only take a small spillover of Californians and Mexicans from Colorado and the state will be the next Colorado. Once it gets a "progressive" reputation, liberals from all over the country will start moving there. This is what happened to Oregon.

Once Wyoming joins the 21st century and gets decent internet it will flip blue. All the liberal tech workers will work remotely there, drive up all the rents "or buy up all the property" and drive up the cost of living 200%

Oklahoma is more republican than Wyoming. Oklahoma hasn't had a blue county in a presidential race since 2000. No other state has done that.

It won't be the "next" blue state, but it will turn blue soon. California has a population of 40 million, Wyoming 600 thousand. California is blue 2:1, and its insane housing prices are driving people to leave. Most Californians move to other Western states, like Oregon, Colorado, or Wyoming. If ~1% of Californians left and moved to Wyoming, it would turn blue. If you're innumerate you won't understand this argument.

Lived there 5 years. Great state but avoid Laramie, the only university city in the state. Northern WY is beautiful.
