Hmmm...nice OP Anyone know anything about Phil Colins and his band GENESIS? The band started out huge but key members slowly started dropping out (Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett). Colins didn’t hold the reigns until several years into their success, but until him, they never made it huge, despite their music being incredible and based. Skip to when Colins takes the reigns and now they’re full on selling out and turning the band into nothing more than a pop group. Seems like a classic “Faustian Bargain” situation, in which the two previous, more talented frontmen refused, and your post is pretty damning evidence.
