To me it seems like after 1945 there emerged among Jews two distinct approaches towards their own safety and identity:
1) Israeli Nationalism
2) Cosmopolitanism everywhere else (multi-racialism, multiculturalism, immigration for the sake of diversity, etc)
The is undoubtedly some overlap between the two (some Jews will favor some of both), and it's also true that some favor only one or the other but not both.
The two are also in conflict with one another, to some extent (as evidenced in that Atlantic article).
There is probably also a selection bias of sorts at work: where the most nationalist-minded and politically conservative Jews leave for Israel, leave Europe and the rest of the world stuck with the Cosmopolites.
Outside of Israel and the most Conservative Orthodox minorities, it seems like the Holocaust is the main focus of Jewish identity, more so than Judaism the religion. I have some articles saved about that, but for now I can only locate this one, where Israeli Jews express annoyance at the values and ideals of American Jews

These jews, assuming they are distinct, are actually geopolitical allies of the united states unlike the degenerate liberal jews who spread propaganda and anti-white policies.
