Nice man, UCF fraternity life doesn't hold a candle to UF or FSU honestly. Since we're newer and the fraternities don't have the same pull, the school had a lot of power over us. One of the few unique positives we had were dirt-cheap college bars (basically free drinks every single night) and the downtown scene was solid for socials and the like.

Enjoy it while it lasts bud, there's nothing like the college years and active fraternity life.

The Soviet Union was, at the very least, actively striving to be socialist and it their stated policy was to be socialist (which instantly differentiates them from Nazi Germany). Some may argue as to whether they "fully succeeded" or were "state capitalist" in practice (due to relying on centralized, bureaucratic control by a select group of technocrats acting as "trustees" of the people, rather than a working system of democratic control) but that is highly irrelevant to the overall question. It was a command economy, and the means of production (as a whole, this is key) were managed by the state (the people), which is the cornerstone of socialist thought and theory.
