Yonger candidates (and voters) can't know what is going to fuck them, since they have no information to operate with. Everything they think they "know" is taken on faith from some point of authority, and giving them votes is just giving additional votes to these points of authority.
Neither children nor childless adults should be able to vote. Age ensures that the political system isn't kept stagnant due to every new generation having to repeat the previous generations' mistakes to learn why they're bad, and requiring voting adults to have children ensures that the old aren't living for themselves.

Every generation is subjected to their own rebranding of the same act, and it only works because people who haven't seen it before have no point of referenece and can't tell that they're just treading water. Children in politics are the antithesis of progress, as they are the only group that can be made to fall for the same tricks over and over, on account of them being guaranteed to have never experienced them. Politicians don't need to keep to their word if nobody remembers their word. All promises are made in the past. If people can be made to reject the past, they reject any and all capacity to hold politicians to their promises. It was promised that the EU would never seek to militarize, or to incorporate non European territories, and a whole host of other things, yet all of this is now on the table, and leftists don't care, because these promises were in the past, yet this same precident invalidates any and all promises made by any and all political figures.
