I went to a restaurant which sometimes hold small local AfD meetings.
My dad was talking with me about this and that, we of course also talked about german politics.
On the table next to us was an older guy, quiet and kept to himself. I could tell he was listening to us though.
My dad has a tendency to speak a little louder, his hearing isn’t so good anymore at 63.
After we finished our meal, the old man next to us got up, looked at me and asked if he could sit with us and talk.
We did, turns out he’s an AfD member and was surprised how well informed
I was.
He invited me to one of their party meetings, said they’re in the need of younger men who knows how the world works. I don’t know if I should go though. People told me I can be very passionate about politics and even change one’s mind but I fear I might get used.

From my perspective the AfD as a movement should become more resilient if they want to make a lasting change.
I don’t believe the party needs to wait for gaining positions of power. You should have already gotten to fixing the birthrate. Start with your own party members and their families, especially the younger ones. Start an inner-party campaign to bring them to marry german, hire german, boycott non-german. And then extend the campaign in whichever direction you want to.
