I'm curious about the logistics of running a private island of that size. How does the island do things like generate electricity, clean drinking water and plumbing, garbage management. I assume that the non resort buildings contain all the back end stuff, but from Rusty's videos we can't tell how Epstein generated power. Obviously he didn't use solar so he either has a diesel generator or geothermal. Also I assume the man-made lake on the island is a reservoir of fresh water which he purifies from. Anyone in the construction/contracting/electrical/plumbing fields have any insight into these questions?

I work mostly on testing cables, breakers, transformers, generators, etc. basically just putting high voltage or high current on isolated parts of the system to make sure it's doing what it's supposed to.

Those joints I've highlighted are called flanges and they're used for higher pressure lines, at first I thought no way they could be exhausts, however in experience if the generator is big enough then they could POSSIBLY be used.
The biggest tell is the louvered (shutter like) doors/pannels, they're used on air intake systems to allow good airflow and natural light, they've also got like a mesh running along the inside to catch flies and anything else that might get into the system.

Is it typical to do all the cooling for all the houses in one remote location?

My experience is 99% industrial based, HOWEVER, I'd say with confidence that it isn't at all.
Too many factors to consider for each individual property to warrant doing them all from one location, usually the air handling goes above or below the building because it's just easier and you can make changes to the climate, also you want as little duct work as possible between the unit and the outlet for efficiency.

Ok so, those little things I've highlighted are exhaust vent hinges, the lids closed to stop shit going up the exhaust pipe but when the exhaust pressure gets high enough it lifts the lid to vent, that would also explain the use of flanges (it's a pressurised exhaust)
