Blacks can't swim because of bad generational wealth / culture. Having access to infrastructure pools is something a lot of them didn't have and as the parents never learnt it'd also take them away from fixing it for their children.

Its got chemicals and whatnot in it. Just go early (when nobody is really there) or sign up for an adult swimming classes. They'll have you do backstroking, treading water, floating, ect in maybe 4 or 5 sessions. It's like riding a bike, once you learn you don't forget. Obviously, stay away from choppy waters and shit. Getting worn out and overwhelmed is still real. But most drownings are of the variety they can't fucking swim in the first place.

How to swim for retards:

1. Find water shallow enough that you can stand in comfortably but you can float on without touching the bottom.
2. Attempt to float on the water's surface on your back.
3. Be amazed that you float!
4. Realize that you can do this on your belly too, but you have to keep you head up to breathe!
5. Move your arms and legs now, like a dog, to move yourself.

You can swim more efficiently than doggy-paddling, and you will learn to do so in seconds. Swimming is only hard if you are legitimately retarded and panic the moment your head goes under the water.
