He posits that the history of mankind is split in two, and it is that which he explores more vehemently in the book. The contrast is best shown in A-C 33: "A new way of life, NOT a new faith", and where he claims that the church, and most of all St-Paul (which any christian, which I'm not btw, ought to know was a fucking Roman spy and sleezy jew) has systematically perverted Christ's real teaching, which is HOW he lived his life. The Church and St-Paul took that and turned his EXAMPLE into a set of beliefs, doctrines, dogmas that we know as "Christianity".

He did not actively belong to any religious organization, did not subordinate to any spiritual leader like a bishop, guru, preacher or such. His views evolved over time and were kinda inconsistent.
