Can someone moribund a poor yank on the recent happenings? As I understand it the no-deal blocker bill was passed so brexit is 100% delayed until 31 Jan? And therefore looking very likely a 2nd ref will happen?
This thread is the opposite of moribund, or burgeoning if you will
Nascent
Could you say nascent?
moribund as

What is like in Northern Ireland? Do they take kindly to Englishmen?
Cracking
I recently watched the 24 ep BBC Cold War documentary, loved it. People complain it's biased towards the West, but I thought it was rather evenhanded given how batshit Stalin was. I especially liked the episodes where they cover the internal turmoil in US/UK when everyone was being labeled a commie for jaywalking or not buying war bonds.
Another cold war would be pretty comfy as a straight white male desu, just think about it. Trump/BoJo would lead us into a whole new realm of commie hating hitherto unseen. We would round up and witchhunt all the feminists, faggots, and furries for being commies, just like we did back in the 50s to half the Hollywood industry and thousands of others. Of course the Jews would find ways to slip through the cracks unfortunately, the snakes always do. But still, I can't wait to see movies about CIA/MI6 operatives being forced to go undercover as trannies to expose New-Soviet sympathizers
>Do they take kindly to Englishmen?
Sure, nobody cares if you are English tbqh
Enough with the (((parliamentary maneuvers))). How long until they shut up and vote to hold the GE?
squeezey branston pickle, feel like the Queen

Who watched question time earlier? Richard and Iain were top notch on blasting BLACKEDford and thornberry
I mean they might if you go into rough council estates in certain areas but they are shitholes everywhere, otherwise nobody gives a shit
Smarter than you then.
I know you are Irish, so pack in the fag flag retard
>That cheap ikea wardrobe
not happening, unified opposition to block no-deal by preventing a GE. I wasnt sure before but I think boris could do something mad like not ask for the extension, he looks like hes going mental
is that lib dem cunt an actual mp?
she looks and sounds like daddy has a bob or two and with a big enough donation to the party, daddy will make sure his princess becomes an mp.
if you want to remain, then abstain. brexit has fuck all to do with her.
So why did they hold a referendum on Brexit if they never intended on honoring it?
mate, you werent in Eire/pol last night by any chance?
>As I understand it the no-deal blocker bill was passed so brexit is 100% delayed until 31 Jan?
It was passed by the Commons but still has to pass the Lords (the upper house - a bit like your Senate, except that our Lords are unelected, they're appointed over time by successive governments, which is shit if you ask me). The Lords have said it should pass that house by Friday. Then on Monday the Commons will consider any Lords amendments. But the government has said that the bill will get the royal assent that it needs to become law.

>brexit is 100% delayed until 31 Jan?
Boris is trying to avoid this by trying to call an election. But Labour are saying they'll only vote for a new election once the no-deal-blocking bill has become law. It looks very possible that the bill will become law and then we will have an election before the end of the year, which Boris has proposed for mid-October. If we had an election and Boris won, AND if he gets a parliament which will vote for a no deal Brexit or for a particular deal Brexit by the 19th October (since that is what the bill is demanding), then we leave on Oct 31st. This is definitely not a certain thing by any stretch of the imagination. But no, it's not 100% delayed until 31st Jan.
>And therefore looking very likely a 2nd ref will happen?
I think that would only happen if a new parliament votes for a 2nd ref. So we'd have to see who wins / what kind of parliament we get from the election which is probably going to soon happen, after the no-deal-blocking bill becomes law.
Shamrocks and leprechauns I've been exposed.
How will a mick such as myself become president now?
Nobody actually expected leave would win so there was no actual planning involved tbqh
Nah wasn't me
but they are honouring it burger user.
yes we said we'd leave but we never said we'd leave without a deal.
They didnt believe people would vote to leave.
It was a way to get rid of Nige and UKip. Back fired big style.
>Nah wasn't me
k
can't work it out right now it's to fucking ridiculous
kek at the helmet stand
Brexit date pushed back until Jan or whatever, general election happens in time between now and then, Tories no longer have to rely on DUP propping them up, exit deal is agreed with border for goods in the Irish sea.

Does Boris hold the sole power to either request or not request an extension, or could someone else from UK request that of Brussels? If I remember correctly Boris does have a veto at the EU table so he can block that from happening. Still he's all in at this point. Might as well just double down again, pretend he's going along with everything and then on 17 Oct just refuse to request an extension. What are they gonna do, fire him?
>digits
what have you done with Tim?
Nice. Avoid the shank hill road?
I had no idea how she was elected must of been uni students. Her and thornberry remind me of a teacher who would target you because you threaten their authority in class by simplying existing

Kevin hart was not involved in a car accident in Calabasas/Malibu. This is a media stunt. He has no serious back injuries. He is fine and well
None of you have given a good answer why this solution doesn't work:
1) Leave EU (thus delivering ref result)
2) Leave the customs union (so we can sign those trade deals that Brexiteers are apparently desperate to sign)
3) Stay in the single market (thus protecting British industry and jobs from being decimated)
Brexiteers want to deliver Brexit, right? Well here's a package which parliament is willing to support. It delivers the referendum result. But it prevents too much damage to the British economy, which is what MPs are interested in.
If Brexiteers want Brexit, why wouldn't they support this? Do they not want to deliver the referendum result or something? Or perhaps it's that they're anti-democratic and won't respect democratically elected MPs?
feel like pure shit just want him back x
He should do SOMETHING insane, since the rest of Parliament has been insane to him, in turn. This has turned into a high-stakes game of poker, everyone's wheeling out the big guns. Might as well up the ante once again.

im sorry but i have to say this because it's starting to annoy me, bigly...

>Does Boris hold the sole power to either request or not request an extension, or could someone else from UK request that of Brussels?
queen too i think. not that she would but its the leader of the gov and head or head of state.
>If I remember correctly Boris does have a veto at the EU table so he can block that from happening.
The Gov does but i think they put some bullshit in about not being able to veto thats why theres talk of getting viktor to do it
>Still he's all in at this point. Might as well just double down again, pretend he's going along with everything and then on 17 Oct just refuse to request an extension. What are they gonna do, fire him?
vote of no conf and put jeremy in charge to extend the deadline followed by a 2nd ref.
Deal with it. It will get better in time.
