I'd say my sister is a text book case. It's a multifaceted answer. For one we grew up poor and our parents constantly fought and eventually did divorce. From her perspective, her template of men that she got from my dad is that they're untrustworthy alcoholics. So now that she's an adult, she worked hard to make her independence and freedom and she doesn't want some guy to fuck that up. She goes on vacation when she wants, drives whatever car she wants. If she got married of had a kid, I think she thinks she'd end up like my mom who frequently told us that she felt like a slave who lost all her friends and freedom because she had to take care of us. Not to mention she's basically a professional student. She's a teacher but they keep paying her to get more degrees. She goes to Europe in the summer to take a two week course and then travels for another month. It does sound fantastic. It's hard to argue with her in the short term. I personally think it's too sad to end the family lineage and I can't stop being attracted to women so I see myself startng a family but actually I've been unsuccessful so far because of my political beliefs and because I'm too lazy to get in shape. And also I don't make much money. In some places 50k a year might be decent but where I live it's a 1br apt and no savings. No debt either but I'm not upwardly mobile.

So again, it all comes down to economics and modern atomized populations being intertile as a result. Really I don't want to bring kids into this hell world that shows all signs of becoming worse as far as economic enslavement and invasive technology.
