One of the things that's so frustrating about right wingers is the complete lack of understanding about the true nature of violence.
Right wingers are generally more honest people and to them, you are either violent towards a person/institution or you are peaceful. However, leftists understand that there is a full spectrum of violence to be applied to reduce the resistance of an adversary and pummel them into submission.
For instance, say there is some right winger who is just trying to protest for his right to speak or whatever. A leftist cant just beat him over the head with a bat. But he can stand obnoxiously close to him and breath in his face, grab his sign or bump up to him. This makes people very uncomfortable because it's quite disconcerting when people do this. If the hapless man strikes him, then he goes to jail. More likely, he will retreat from the situation and thus, the leftists have conquered his space.
Then there is petty acts of vandalism. Smash and run. This is a form of economic terrorism that you can wage against non-compliant people or institutions. Do it once, and you will anger them. Do it dozens of times and eventually people will try to change their behavior to appease the leftists. Terrorism works.
Step it up a notch and you get physical attacks on people. You generally don't want to kill people because this provokes retaliation and creates martyrs and leftists understand public relations far better than right wingers do. So they merely beat isolated people. Get beat up once and you might soldier on. But if this keeps happening every week and they slash your tires and break your windows, eventually you will leave. Terrorism works. That is the essence of Direct Action.

Thinking that violence is never acceptable is a very modern and feminine thing. No person who thinks that way deserves to be called a man. Some people deserve to get a beating, or even to be killed.
