I don't think I heard anything about it until I started reading "alternative" takes on the topic.
They took the real camp entry and delousing process and recontextualized it to make it seem like it was really about stealing clothes and hair (infected with delicious lice) and then killing the prisoners. If we assume the holocaust really happened, then the idea would have surely been that the nazis used the camp entry and delousing process as a cover for killing prisoners, and historians would have pointed this out. And those processes were necessary in any case because not all prisoners were killed. But nothing is said about these processes except that their only purpose was to kill jews.

My favorite issue is the Katyn massacre, where they actually DID find the bodies, but the discovery was made by the Germans themselves who claimed the massacre was perpetrated by the Soviets.
The Soviets of course, said it was the Nazis.
It was not until Gorbachev's administration that they finally admitted that it was Stalin and the Soviets that killed them.
So even if you have bodies, it does not actually guaranteed that Germany was the sole perp.

This is another thing that gets me. The Soviets blamed Katyn on Germany, doctored photographs to fabricate German war crimes, and staged a false flag to go to war against Finland--and probably more that I don't know of--yet you cannot even think about the idea of questioning a single piece of holocaust evidence they presented.
