Republicans to Scrap Primaries

And I thought the DNC was corrupt.

Both parties are ran by people who have been living off of our taxes for decades and have never really even had a real job.

There's literally no one who can compete with daddy Trump. Why embarrass someone who might have a chance in 2024?

Good.
Trump hijacking the republican primary race when nobody in the GOP wanted him around was fucking stupid too. Any random retard who can get votes shouldn't have the ability to appoint himself the potential nominee of a party and create a schism.

The GOP that had recently run such stunning candidates as McCain and Romney?
Oh no, what will we ever do without their boundless strategic genius?

You mean being open about it instead of putting on a fake vote and putting Clinton up any way?

There have to be some boundaries.
What if Bernie announced it today that he wants to run as republican now?
As far as I understand it, without this, he would be able to do that. He could do a lot of damage with that.

Not just living, living opulently

Jews

You're just mad because this means trump can remain on offense throughout the entire primary season.

You leftshits don't have a chance in hell

Funny how no one in the GOP wanted him but the voters wanted him (or at least wanted his policies). It almost makes you think they're a controlled opposition that isn't trying to win, doesn't it?

>And I thought the DNC was corrupt
But now they're not for some reason?

Of course they are, there are no seriously credible primary challengers to Trump. The left as well as the (((never trump movement))) need to just accept that WE WANT TRUMP. If we wanted some cuckservative faggot like ¡Jeb! or Rubio, we would have nominated one of them. We picked trump because we want trump. Just accept it already.

So what? Let them be that if that's what they choose to be. Hijacking them without their consent is still wrong. It's political rape.

This. The enemy squeals a lot when you're about to deal the killing blow.

Those cucks deserve political rape.
They're the right side of the two party system, they don't deserve control when they've shown time and time again they exist to lose ground. It's a pity that Trump was so shit.

Wanting to hijack them just furher cements their position as the establishment.
Just vote for new parties!

What part of "two party system" do you not understand? Since it's winner take all the only way a third party can do well is if there's also a forth party from the other side (each taking votes from the original two parties). Besides, the vast majority of his support came from the GOP, not taking their party would only hurt both the GOP and the new party since you can't just make a coalition to combine your electoral votes when you inevitably get

Right, but fuck the two party system though.
It should either be one party or at least 4 parties.

But they have a two party system due to the type of political system they have (winner takes all).
Imagine this: There are 4 parties, each getting 20-30% of the vote.
Two of the parties realize they can join to get 40-60% of the vote, they're not too different anyway.
So now there are three parties, two with 20-30% of the vote, and a third with 40-60% of the vote.
Considering the third party will win every single time the first two parties now need to join, now we have two parties, each with 40-60% of the vote.

Besides, we technically have more than two parties over here but they'll never get anywhere due to how the political system is made up (mandatory voting and First Past The Post means normies will always vote for the main two parties meaning those two will almost guaranteed always be in power).

>Two of the parties realize they can join to get 40-60% of the vote, they're not too different anyway.

That's basically it, if you look at GOP or the DNC you can see that they break down into 2-3 different major factions within either party

Additionally, the primaries act as elections for the factions within a single party. For example, the DNC is going to have a major primary season selection between the leftist and centrist factions within their own party. So in some ways we do have a muti-party system, it just doesn't seem that way if you only focus on the general election

We should scrap elections and term limits next.

That's better than how we do it over here. You vote for a party and that party can pick who they want, there have been so many cases of PMs being elected then the party replacing them that they're looking into making it illegal. We've had 7 PMs in 10 years.

...

Watch as this bullshit gets used to crush anyone to the right of Bush next primary. Why would you want then to have more power to fuck upstarts after what they did to Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan.

Shortsighted cunts.

this, and it makes me happy
