Why do these guys seem all the rage with normies these days. Nobody gave a shit when they were in their prime releasing stuff but now all of a sudden they are the greatest thing since sliced bread? I listened to half the album and was unimpressed

theyre literally one of the most popular and well-known rock bands in the world
as the buttend of a joke
Literally who
Oh wait. Tool?
Ur big fat gay mom
Maynard has become such a pretentious twat, along with Mike Patton.
New album was good, but its not as good as the other 4.
Normies latch onto whatever thing is currently happening and pretend to be life long fans.
>Has become
He always was
A perfect circle is better than Tool btw
only the first three relases were good. opiate and undertow was awesome and that enema or whatever was okay.
feel sorry for millenials how missed the early 90's music scene. that was the last time mainstream pop music was largely good music.
i remember opiate was really popular my 8th grade year. hot girls were really into tool. it was a different time when most white girls listened to rock instead of rap and nigger pop.
correction undertow was popular 8th grade year
>APC better than Tool
Pretty much everything after Mer De Noms has sucked. Save for The Noose.
This
Are you a girl?
>opiate not being the collection of the worst Tool songs.
Studio (((produced))) music has been poison since the 60s
Taylor Swift fans are butthurt that Tool bumped her from the number one album spot.
Look at the artwork and listen to the first song...it's about the jews

New album sucked and was completely irrelevant and unnecessary, bland, uninspired. Should have deleted it but gotta consume that product. To answer your question it's because (((someone))) told every soiboi between the seven seas that tool were safe to consume (despite making songs about raping children or whatever) I fucking hate this endless decade
APC = 2 good albums
Tool = 5 good albums
The drums and the bass are still honey to my ears, never really cared about the guitar or Maynard's singing.
Paid marketing. They blasted their base (gen x/millennials mostly) in the glowing screens with fluff stories and social media hype.
It's an incredible album. Probably 1 in 1000 actually get the true deep message. Why all the fanfare? Simple : Shekels. We live in a clown world... If something catches traction, everyone wants to be a part of it/associated with it for shekels. Reaction videos .. the whole nine. They've been topping the charts because they released their whole discography at once on streaming platforms. So, it was on the shekel radar and now everyone wants to be associated with it so they can cash in on views/likes. I have yet to see a competent dissection of the meaning.. Just goes to show you how vapid our culture/society has become.. Wall to wall coverage on something that is #1 ranking and no one has a clue what its about or discussing it. O'well.
Better late than never. Better than pop or mumble rap these young idiots listen to thess days.

Thinking there's a deep message in a rock album and then calls the rest of society vapid...
