This is CEO of McDonald's Steve Easterbrook. He earned 21.8 million dollars in 2017. The median pay for a McDonald's worker that year was 7000 dollars. Jow Forums will defend this.

They should have started their own burger joint

It's surprising that he didn't earn more

Also Mcdonalds is an autism tier job

>americans are outraged that their millionaires aren't paid more

>europoors are poor and bitter

Sure will.
This guy didnt drop out of highschool
the people averaging 7k a year did drop out of highschool despite multiple warnings that "theyll end up at mcdonalds"

is it tough to get wifi in one of these?

Oh wow, who knew McDick's armada of part time and seasonal high school workers would drive down the median income.

In a reenactment homesteader's cabin? Probably not.

He actually started as a McDonal's manager in LONDON... holy shit what a hellish job he deserves all of that money if you ask me

>McDonal's manager in LONDON

they had a ceo from here who started as a 14 year old. He later die of a heart attack in his forties. The McDonald's here are all staffed with cute girls in high school. The fat and dumpy ones work in hungry jacks.

Honestly 21 million isn’t that much for being rich

Lol your people starved on an island surrounded by fish

So the pay gap between him and the median worker is actually a lot smaller than between an A-list actor and an extra.

There are over 30,000 McDonald's restaurants out there. If he's running all of them, why wouldn't he make thousands of times more than someone who only has to run a single location?

You aren't wrong, apparently the one's that owned fish gear threw them away and stubbornly tied to keep growing potatoes. Ireland was a net food exporter and the english kept it all under armed guard but if you look they did make some dumb choices that were in their control

This was the amount of his contract that him and the corporation agreed upon. What is the problem?

the mcdoubles and quarter pounders are excellent. thank you steve for the great food

>implying it matters
He got to that position through a series of decisions that the founder and people appointed by the founder, directly or indirectly, made. Idgaf if you think he earned the position or not. A decision was made to put him there.
