I believe there was a book I didn't read about this subject.
Anyway East Asia would be primarily world dominant with lesser world polarity focus on India and the Middle East (particularly Persia). I'm not sure if Islam or even Christianity would exist in this scenario, which if not makes Persia and an even greater focus. Egypt would be a trip if no Christianity or Islam was around. Probably semi-monotheistic sun worshipers or Zoroastrians? The entire power grouping of world culture and technology would be in Eastern Eurasia and if anyone even lives in Europe (old WHG?) it would be a giant Afghanistan full of eventual Mideast and Chinese colonies probably competing a la 1800s Africa.
China or the Mideast would have eventually discovered the New World (I would be China) and started mass colonizing it fairly similar to the Spanish. The current year would likely be at the technological level of 1600s or maybe 1700s.
