I live in Birmingham and the Pakis (as well as other Muslims like Turks, Arabs, Iranians, Bosnians, Somalis) and Blacks all get along fine for the most part. There have been some Paki/Indian vs Black race riots but this is rare and considering how many different cultures are here living side by side it's not that unusual that something would explode every couple of decades.
Generally though there is little tension in day to day life and they work together in drug gangs, robberies, shootings, and don't snitch on each other and they tend to only kill each other over their own local drugs beefs. It's extremely rare to see a Paki kill a black or openly racially abuse a black on the basis purely of race, and vice versa.

Maybe it's an American thing or something but i don't understand this assertion that Muslims and Afro-Caribbeans don't get along in England.
