So I'm wondering how people went from libertarianism to fascism or white nationalism. To me it doesn't make sense to go from "the fed causes the boom-bust cycle", believing in the economic calculation problem, bottom-up resistance through nullification and secession; to the only way forward is to overtake the federal government and create a top-down fascist system that believes in our values.
I can understand conceding that libertarianism would only work with white people, but why aren't people advocating a minarchist state that controls immigration to only let in white immigrants if any? If you were libertarian why did you drop your views on economics?

Libertarianism is a small enough movement to be taken over and molded into a more radical form, given the right leadership, but large enough that it could threaten the current political balance if it got enough momentum. Libertarianism already has an Ameri-centric and patriotic brand as well as an established history. That would make it harder for the media to take initiative in branding the movement like they were able to do with "Alt-Right", which was a blank-canvas movement.
Calling yourself a 'Libertarian' is the only right-leaning, heterodox label that is socially acceptable. Nobody calls themselves 'Alt Right' any more for a reason- 'Libertarian' should be the new label. The libertarian movement should position itself as a departure from conservatism due to the failure of conservatism to safeguard social and political ideals (which it basically already does). There shouldn't be a "Libertarian to Alt-Right" pipeline, libertarianism itself should be the movement.
To actually answer your question OP, I am still a libertarian. But after being redpilled on race realism I acknowledge that importing millions of Mexicans, which will give permanent political power to Democrats and Socialists, probably isn't that great for 'liberty.' I'm still a libertarian, I just acknowledge that if you care about the outlook on liberty-minded policy, you are forced to care about the demographic shift that is underway.

Libertarianism cannot solve an entire set of problems due to the ethos of libertarianism being minimal government intervention. For example, any problem that is difficult to prove, that is gradual and unforeseen, that is arguably not a problem, and, requires government intervention, will not be answered (in time) by a libertarian government.
In my opinion a “grass roots” fascism is the best of both worlds. A competent laissez faire government that lets you the citizen invoke its power to your discretion, but you do it for the well-being of yourself, your loved ones, and your country, then you’re free to do whatever you want. Basically libertarianism but with much more laws that aren’t enforced unless specifically called upon, you might notice that we have a similar system but every time Jow Forums does it, it gets shut down (safety squads) and the left is able to do it without even invoking laws (deplatforming getting people fired etc)
