Why were mass shootings not as wide spread in the 50s and 60s? Was it because parents taught their kids about guns from a young age and taught them how to use them? Is it because there were rifling classes in school? Is it because schools were not as desegregated? Is it because the media didn't hype each shooting for days and race to find who did it and why to blast to people that are on ssri and other drugs that if they do a shooting they can be the focus of a nation? I think it is all of these reasons combined.

don't forget armed teachers, with the gun in their hands aiming at the students during the lecture for security reasons

We need to bring back mental institutions. It used to be if you thought you needed a sex change, or wanted to have sex with a duck, or wanted to kill yourself, they tossed you in the loony bin. yeah, offcourse, students can carry pistols and submachine guns, teachers can carry assault rifles and bulletproof clothing/military equipment

also the janitor patrols the school with a armed drone occasionally and there is another one which is autonomous to monitor the whole thing, but can also be controlled, going to such school would make me feel free as fuck

You are right in some area. Shootings are a way that someone who thinks they are nothing can achieve something and have their name be known. That falls onto the media, social and professional, being at fault. But no one will ever say that and move to prevent it.

Remove the private ownership of firearms for civilians, particularly handguns as they are far over represented in all gun crimes because of their ease of use and availability, anything except outright removing access to them for citizens couldn't truly prevent mass shootings
It's reasonable to say if most or all firearms were to be removed from US citizens the number of mass shootings committed by them would similarly follow like Australia, the UK, Japan, etc. and become basically zero a year
It's still not worthwhile because
A) it violates our natural human rights
B) it's physically infeasible to do when anyone could buy up guns, dismantle them, and hide the pieces literally anywhere; if someone put them in a box and buried it somewhere in the woods and didn't tell anyone only they could ever find it, seriously there is no way to enforce a weapons confiscation here
and C) mass shootings make up such a small, irrelevant fraction of gun crimes, let alone deaths, that it's not worth the time focusing on them when there's suicides, homicides, etc. to bother with first; AND if data from other nations is relevant than it follows that violent crimes are expected to rise after a gun confiscation/ban gets passed completely defeating the point of 'protecting' people from themselves
