So is it actually illegal or not?

So first it was Obama and Clintons spying on Trump's russian connections, now Trump spying on Biden's Ukranian Connection. Ethics aside, the real question -

IS THIS LEGAL OR NOT FOR THE PRESIDENT TO USE HIS POWERS TO SPY/INVESTIGATE A POLITICAL RIVAL?

Apparently it's legal since Obama and Hillary aren't in jail.

What was done to the President-elect was illegal, full stop. If Trump was using the FBI, CIA, NSA, or any federal department to investigate Biden, it would also be illegal. Trump telling a foreign dignitary or head of state that it'd be fine for them to open up a case they had previously had open, is not illegal, even if it would personally benefit Trump.

>Trump spying on Biden's Ukranian Connection

He did no such thing, Creepy Joe's Ukrainian connection has been public knowledge for a while, and Joe outed himself on the blackmail/bribery issue.

trump wasnt spying. trump basically told ukraine leader, "bidens son was being investigated by one of your prosecutors. can you find out what that was all about?"

thats is nothing close to sending cia and fbi assets in to frame the biden campaign

Biden is incompetent and senile. The only reason he's running is so trump cant investigate him without being accused if election interference.

Funny, considering the foreign minister that that was nothing like what happened. reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-whistleblower-ukraine/ukraine-minister-denies-trump-put-pressure-on-zelenskiy-during-call-report-idUSKBN1W60HU

What specific crimes were committed? What would the charges be?

Does the intent of the president matter at all? Like Obama clearly wanted to find dirt on Trump to help Hillary, same as Trump wants to find dirt on Biden to help himself. Is the intent not relevant to legality?

This whiny faggot is literally going to cry like a little bitch until the jews haul him off to prison Kek imagine how confused and frustrated he must be surrounding himself by jews while trying to fight the system and can't figure out why he gets nothing accomplished and everyone turns on him. Peak boomer

I think its a violation of federal election law for a sitting president to spy on a rival using his executive powers. But this case with Ukraine is a curious one since it involves a foreign government and not our own FBI/CIA/NSA etc...

Its OK when dems do it.
WRONG. Trump has full authority to investigate someone working and acting as an enemy combatant.

Crimes against Trump? Spying on everybody in Trump Tower in an attempt to spy on the Trump campaign, attempted entrapment against at least George Papadopoulos and Carter Page, if not Donald Trump Jr as well. Thats just the shit that's confirmed, too.

Unconfirmed:
>Fradulent FISA applications
if true lands a Supreme Court Justice as well as the former head of the FBI in this mess
>Ballot rigging in CA and FL
if true would be the biggest election scandal in US history

Jews control the media and there are excellent at creating outrage and kicking up the pitch fork mobs to a frenzy. Social media has made it worse. Even Supreme Court justices are not spared. No republican president can truly win against this. He/she would always be against the wall facing outrage after outrage, always trying to avoid it. Its useless. BALKANIZATION OF UNITED STATES IS THE ONLY TRUE OPTION FOR CONSERVATIVE AMERICA.

Trump does 20 things every day that is worse than what Biden's son does. I am all for ethics and transparency at the lop level of government, its idiotic that Biden's son didn't see his employment with a foreign company as a conflict of interest. But again, Trump does this 20+ times a day. Trump has turned any ethical concern into a complete joke. If Trump is qualified for office, anyone is. That's whats sad. The fact the Biden's son slipped up 5 years ago, and it was reported on 5 years ago, is one grain of sand compared to the Sahara desert of Trump ethical issues, self dealing, nepotism, dishonestly. Even the biggest trump supporter cannot deny this. The prestige of the office of the presidency, and even the government as a whole has been permanently tainted by trump.

Everything is legal when you control the justice department and 51 senators.

Founding fathers didn't think that one through very well.

Didn't read; not changing my vote

Trump could use communist laws along with many others to go after all of them but won't because he's a boomer.

We have openly communist groups such as antifa funded by jews in America who don't get charged despite us having laws against communist infiltrators.

They push anti-racism, class warfare, anti white shit, open borders, everything communist and our law enforcement and trump do nothing.

Except trump appointed a literal Jew to investigate them, nothing will happen. Boomers are the results of a lifetime of being brainwashed.

>IS THIS LEGAL OR NOT

not for republicans or right wing
lefty's have a free pass and can do whatever they want

nothing is illegal if you work for the jews

Trump could actually target anyone complicit in communist conspiracy against the US for treason and execution. You should be thankful he's a cuck.

>Trump does 20 things every day that is worse than what Biden's son does
Name one and cite proof niggerfaggot.

Get down to specifics though, what did Trump exactly do that is explicitly unethical relative to other presidents before him?

The prestige of the office is a meme. JFK had whores and seduced interns swimming in the white house pool.

Actually they did. Elections every 4 years, 2 term limit, the judiciary etc...

Directing government spending to his own establishments, employing his children and their spouses, is retain over control of his businesses, etc. Everyday he is continuously breaking long standing ethical standards.

>found the kike.

Kill yourself shareblue

They are so numerous it becomes easy to trivialize them.

Trump (And his entire family) talking to government agents and world leaders using private email and cell phones. IE the exact shit everyone here flipped their shit over when Clinton did it.

For proof, type "Ivaka private emails" or "Trump private phone" into google. There is literally no point in providing a link because you'll just call it fake no matter which source I post or how many. Google it yourself and find your favorite source.

First amendment protects them and you, though. Being a communist, having a open border, anti-racist philosophy is not a crime. Its protected speech. What do you want the president and law enforcement to do exactly? If they should be in jail, so should you for posting on Jow Forums.

Two term limit wasn't in the original constitution. And the supreme court doesn't have jurisdiction - the justice department has to bring them the case first. This is why all of the lawsuits constantly filed over Trump's behavior virtually never go to the supreme court to decide if they are legal, the supreme court always says that the individual doesn't have grounds to bring the lawsuit since he wasn't personally affected when Trump does something illegal. They refuse to even hear the case about Trump's obstruction charges, since its "a political question"

Well kind of funny how white people who want their own version of Israel just got classified as terrorists I am sure we will be in the gulag soon. Not to mention everyone knows Lincoln suspended the constitution

theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2019/09/new-strategy-fight-white-supremacist-violence/598501/

Even still, its not like we are living in a fascist authoritarian nation. The system is not perfect, admittedly, but checks and balances does exist and does work to limit presidential powers. I mean if the worst a president can do is some obstruction to save his own skin using his powers, its not a bad deal for the people.

>me`nwhile, Israel is caught red-handed wiretapping the white house

"Bes fren, bes ally Israel."

The checks and balances barely exist anymore because if you control the justice department, you can just say everything you do is legal. I was listening to the radio just yesterday and they had lawyers on there arguing that Trump can declare war on, and invade Iran whenever he wants because congress gave the president nonspecific authority to stop "The people who perpetrated 9/11" and since some money from Iran supports terrorists, it's legally to depose the government.

It's a silly argument for sure, but since it exists, if you control the Justice Department you can give any flimsy justification you want, and there exists absolutely no method of recourse, as long as 50 senators (and the VP) don't want to impeach.

Hell, a future president could say "It's a national emergency, we need to confiscate the guns" and the president's attorney general would say it's legal because congress gave non-specific power. There would be no legal method of stopping it. (And if you say you can always shoot him, just bare in mind you're giving tacit approval for people to shoot Trump if they don't like him)

A simpler way to say this is we live under a jewish totalitarian regime who disregards every law our founders set.

Except they did, runner up for pres was VP and in charge of the Senate. It worked too well and they scrapped it almost immediately so they could start expanding their power.

Personally I'm still not convinced though, even if President can declare war, the funding has to come from Congress. Where's the money for all the bombs, planes and fuel gonna come from?

I think its important to understand when talking about Impeachment is that it is not meant to be a tool/means to override public vote. The people elected president Trump, they believed in his merits, commitment and honestly to lead the nation. If President does a serious wrong, then it falls on the senators and VP to impeach him, who are also elected by the people. The system places its trust on the judgement of the people. Impeachment should not be a political move. If "as long as 50 senators (and the VP) don't want to impeach" is true, then that simply means the alleged crime by president is not proven or serious enough for them to go ahead with it.

But the president can not confiscate guns though, its specifically protected by the constitution. Can you give a better example?

>the funding has to come from Congress
National emergency, he can take it from wherever he wants.

>The fact the Biden's son slipped up 5 years ago,
isn't this more about Biden himself and threatening to withhold funds in order to get an investigation (into his son) dropped?
oh right, it is

Except the investigation was into the company Biden's son worked for, and the investigation wasn't even active, and the US wanted the guy fired because he wasn't investigating corruption enough, not to prevent investigation.

>investigation was into the company Biden's son worked for
and by extension biden's son
>the US [biden sr] wanted the guy fired because he wasn't investigating corruption enough
as laughable as that sounds maybe this memo was sent out today? because I've been out all day and may not have received it.

I'm not saying Biden did nothing wrong, if Biden knew about his son's employment, but definitely his son should of known that the employment would have been a conflict of interest and if Biden was following a high ethical standard he should have recused himself to prevent any perceived issues just like this. But its a complete joke to even try to hold Trump to the same standard. Trump has absolutely zero ethical concerns and is in a constant routine state of continual conflicts of interest and ethical violations daily. If you care about ethics, you wouldn't have a second to thing about Biden with Trump in the white house.

Was reported on in 2014

Schiff is in bed with Ukraine also, I bet a bunch of them are.
