Very cool op. I've always wanted a p38 does yours have any original Nazi markings? When my grandfather passed away I inherited a pre B CZ model 85.

Beretta 86. Was my Great-granddads

Not OP, but German weapons from the period weren't sprinkled with party emblems, a few very small eagles with swastikas but nothing gratuitous. More valuable is matching serials, which that pistol seems to have. You should get a P38, great pistol, mine turned me on to 9mm.

No. My family are a bunch of lame rich assholes. My dad left me an apartment but my cunt stepmother lived there so yeah I got fucked.

Fuck me that's beautiful

Gross. Not only is that an outdated piece of trash, with not even a rail for a tactical light or red dot, but it is also a nazi pistol, and was probably used to kill Jews.

Shitty b8

My dad's friend moved out of state and left the cosmoline saturated series 27 Type 99 Arisaka that had been sitting in his closet for 20 years with me, if that counts.

(you)

>cosmoline saturated
man you were lucky, I weep whenever I see another Arisaka rusted and dry cracked to hell because of years if not decades of neglect

0/10 bait

Uncle gave me a few guns, including a really nice model 1884 trapdoor rifle. Thing is a joy to shoot with cowboy loads, and I bet would be pretty accurate if I weren't such a shit shot.

I would only recommend one if you're into the history and aesthetics first. It's a good pistol for sure, but of course, is obsolete. Really fun too

Inherited this from my Uncle, he was an interesting guy to say the least.

Your uncle went to columbine?

The motherfucker had Norinco AK's, SKS's, Cobray MAC 11's, a Desert Eagle, and even a fucking elephant gun in .378 Weatherby Magnum.
I wouldn't even be surprised if he was a fucking drug dealer.
He also had a fucking massive collection of Playboy magazines from the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

Your uncle was the man I almost wish I could be.

That's honestly a pretty cool collection.

Male pattern baldness and a big cock.

Could be worse.

yo what the fuck is that inscription above the trigger? Is that fucking chinese?

My late grandfather gave me the P.38 he took from a surrendering officer in January, 1945. It's a 1941 Walther, all serials match including the magazine. The holster is what he carried it in for the rest of the war. I received his dog tags after his funeral, I've kept them in a hard case with the pistol ever since.

Wow, that's in really good condition. Good job to you and/or your grandfather for taking such good care of it.

My Grandfather gave me his 1940 JP Sauer K98. He didn't bring it back. It was his neighbor's bring back whose wife gave it to him after he passed away. And my Grandfather has since passed it on to me. The bolt is mismatched unfortunately, not sure what the story is with that. The guy who brought it back was in the Navy, I remember hearing once that sailors who returned with weapons on their ships had to surrender the bolts to their rifles to render them inoperable until they took them home. Does anyone know if it's possible if he simply received a mismatched bolt accidentally?

The action is butter smooth as he cleaned it and oiled it twice a year but hadn't fired it since the 1960's. I've fired it a few times in the 15-odd years it's been in my possession but I bought a P1 to scratch that itch as this is far more valuable to me as a family heirloom than as a shooter.

He gave me the leftover ammunition from the last time he had fired it as well - 1950's Dominican Republic surplus which a local shop had to special order for him. 9mm Parabellum was not terribly popular at the time.

My Grandpa also gave me his 1989 commercial Browning Hi Power

>boner.jpg
>boner punches through my monitor and domes my neighbor

I found this in my grandpa's shed after he died. Was in really nasty condition but after a few hours of good cleaning all was well.

Step grandfather gave me a box of rifle parts, a bag of European coins brought back by relative who fought in WWI and a K-98k scope case like this one:

this thread makes me wish my great grandfather didn't sell his shit he took back from japan, he was an engineer in the navy on ships that would land after the invasions, can't imagine what he had
