Road rage and driving thread

Part of me feels, i should have made a police report but i feel, its not worth wasting the polices time with an almost accident. No one was hit or hurt and he just kept flipping me off.

Its attempted carjacking if they try to open your door. You are allowed to respond with deadly force to a car jacking.

Call in and report a probable drunk driver reporting vehicle description and license plate. He was swerving around, nearly hit you, and was acting disorderly. Perfectly reasonable interpretation and pigs love them a drunk driver.

In my experience with people that have road rage, most of them are not going to chase you. They're just trying to run you off the road. They don't want you out of your vehicle or themselves out of theirs. They'll follow you around to harass you and try to get ahead of you to cause accidents even if it means doing it to other people behind them if they think it has a chance of you getting into a problem. Someone flipping you off isn't a big deal. It's more about how long they're following you and what lengths they're going to do it. I've had some people do some crazy stuff. If you notice someone like that get ahead of you honestly pull off to a different road and go back after a few minutes. They won't think twice to hurt anyone else if they think they can cause a pile up and get you stuck in it. As long as they don't think they'll get hurt in the confrontation they'll do the most dangerous shit possible to everyone else.

Good stuff to know, been driving for years and this cunt was the closet to road rager, ive had to deal with.

I'll just add, I've had the type that follow me and tail gate for miles, they even turned around and tried to get ahead of me to try and do a head on thing much further down the road. The last thing they want is to get out of their car and have a confrontation. If you can alert an emergency service and lead them to it even, the better off you are. A lot of people are just dicks and in a hurry, if you're in the passing lane and above speed and the person in the other lane tries to match your speed, won't let you change lanes, they're probably the type. If they get behind you and are acting weird, probably the type too. Just be cautious if they get ahead of you because if they're the calculating type they're probably okay with hurting anyone that gets in front of you too if they think there is a chance you'll get stuck in it.

Indeed sound advice, Since i do carry. I gave him the finger while he was flipping me off and then sat at the light while he sped up and made the turn. I just sat their with a slight adrenaline rush and said when i make this turn if he tries to double back and follow or fight. I'm going to draw and shoot the fucker while on the phone with 9mm. Fuck i mean 911. Alas that did not happen and we went on our separate ways and no way in hell was i getting out of my car. I was just worried he was going to pull over and try to fight and follow me.

I've had people try to get me out of the car a couple times. Most road rage types are just trying to run you off the road and cause an accident.
The vehicle is their weapon and they use it that way. Honestly pull off to an exit or something and just give it a few minutes if you think that's happening.
Typically it's not like that, what I seen was just weird out of the normal kind of stuff. I've considered pulling my gun a few times if I have to get out. A lot of the time they're trying to cause an accident with the vehicles because they can't do it otherwise. I'm far from an expert, I'm honestly really inexperienced with vehicles. I'd get a dash cam though if you're worried about it. It doesn't help if they're behind you but when it comes to road rage they're not trying to stay behind you at all.Take it with a grain of salt.

This happens way more often than it should. Guys on bikes always get butt-hurt about encroachment (hey man, I deserve the same space as car!) but pass illegally and generally do stupid shit whenever the mood takes them.

You're a faggot. I tend to give a car length or multiple car lengths to the stuff ahead of me. I go out of my way to do it for bikes too. You're a piece of shit if you're tail gating them like any other vehicle. It's not even cool to do that to other vehicles at speed either.

I get it if you're trying to get up to speed, but I see this all the time on the road they should be able to lane split if they're going to have someone up on their rear wheel.

When I was a senior in high school, I hit a kid with my car. He flat out ran right out in front of me. I didn't hit him hard, as I almost got stopped, so he simply gott up and ran away. Ended up calling the police to make sure I wouldn't have to deal with some angry mom or some shit. It never amounted to anything

Fellow pa guy here I was in Harrisburg for my job and always cc especially since I had some of the rougher area accounts (double ds Olympic). Well I haz a guy follow me while i was in my work van. I'm assuming with the giant colors light all over car trying to rob me I guess. He got our of his car with tire iron I got out with my gun in a low ready. Between verbal command and gun he got back into his car. I thank God every day it didn't escalate

Luckily he got back into his car when he saw that I wasn't fucking around. I called my manager and told him he said just keep your head on a swivel and 911 dialed just in case. See we were viewed as soft targets the truck drives had to go in pairs with out any money in them from being pistol whipped and everything. My one account was an old Russian owner might have been a son of a bitch but he literally always escorted me out to the van.

I thought about this a while back as i wanted to be able to annonymous tip off police to the nefarious activities of johnny foreigners however the 5-0 use an encrypted system in my country.

No. The road was totally empty in the early AM besides the two of us so there was plenty of room to dodge them. They tried a few times. It begged the question of why in the fuck they tried it because obviously I didn't cut them off or anything.

My brother got his windshield smashed by an asshole with a window punch, then drug halfway out of the car before he could get free. The cops showed up before the dude ran. The asshole brake checked him at a construction stop to force an accident. Fortunately there were about 50 witnesses and a cellphone video. He's getting fucked in the ass in a Washington pen because he did the same thing to an FBI agent and got tazed.

Anyway, there are billigerent assholes everywhere down here. In rush hour traffic some chode government worker snapped over into the fast lane at 55mph. The five people behind him doing 80 weren't happy, so the second one flew up to his ass and slammed the brakes the dickhead lost his mind and started screaming and hitting his dash and flicking everyone off. I had a good laugh about that because he did it to himself. So I carry a pistol. This shit happens when somebody just snaps over little shit and nobody sees it coming. Some guy got beaten half to death at a preschool by two fag bikers because the bikers blocked two lanes of traffic and took a car horn as a personal insult. If somebody jumps out of their car over hurt feelings and makes a b-line at you they deserve to get shot.

Another PA resident here. Too may stupid as shit drivers here and in MD. Ive not experienced road rage drivers as much as I have just plain negligence. Soccer moms/teens on their phones. Some fucker in a suit and tie in his escalade sipping his crappucino and thinks hell cut you off for no reason, bill bob in his big diesel pick up pulling out in front of you or blowing smoke to look tough. And just a hell of a lot of idiots who just don't know how to driver period.

Assholes on bicycles are probably my biggest peeve this time of year. Share the road..okay but you need to stay the hell on the shoulder and not be 1/3 into my lane and refuse to get over when I try to pass, especially when another vehicle is passing in the other lane or around bends and on hills. Oh and everybody who thinks that you WILL stop for them no matter what kind of stupid shit they do.

Most road rage driver I've experienced

>4 lane avenue that I can take most of the way home
>Slightly more traffic than normal, but not a big deal
>Not to far from my turn, have to make a left so I'm sitting in left most lane just cruising along at around the speed limit
