Proven design vs. buttugly gun vs. good gun vs. no drop-safety gun

Never handled the APX but between the G17, M&P2.0 and P320 my vote goes to the M&P. Wasn't a fan of the P320, and the glock is decent for what it is just a bit outdated. The Smith 2.0 is really great, reasonably priced, excellent stippled grip, and now comes in G19 compact size.

>glock is decent for what it is just a bit outdated.
That's funny since every big company copies Glock today and never improved upon the design.

I think the APX is a good looker

Glock copied sig’s Locking system

>Glock copied sig
You mean Browning.

The new M&P 2.0 is absolutely superior to the glock, and I say that as someone with 5 glocks. The grip texture on the 2.0 is better, out of the box sights are better, metal mags with polymer magwell provide smoother ejection that glock poly mag/poly magwell, stock 2.0 trigger is better/lighter/crisper than my G19 with a glock OEM minus connector, and has a true pic rail vs the glock single cut rail, backstrap system on the M&P is superior to the weird clip-on glock gen4 and 5 afterthought.

I still carry my G19 but I'm transitioning to the 2.0 Compact. It's simply a better gun.

It looks tacticool af

But thats wrong, you stupid bastard!

That's definitely a weakness of the Smith. I like the ability to remove the safety plunger simply by removing the extractor on the Glock. Downside is glock ejection always seems erratic to me, regardless of generation (2, 3, 4, or 5). The glock extractor design seems too small for consistent extraction, even "good" extracting glocks seem to kick brass straight back every once in a while.

It looks like a FOMO abortion.

Glock 17 (gen 5) > Beretta APX (ugly but excellent gun)

I wouldn't even consider a M&P or Sig.

>grip texture
Gen 5 ergos are perfect
>sights
Glock offers stock cup/ball, black on black, ameriglos (2 versions - black rear, or tritium rear), and trijicons. I use dawson chargers
>mags
I'll take $20 mags all day
>magwell
Gen 5 is flared, not that any of my gen 2-4 have issues, but a bit of flare is nice
>trigger
can't compare 2.0, but my M&P fullsize and compact were junk compared to any of my Glocks (opinion)
>rail
implying that every weapons light doesn't cater to Glock, and they fit great
>backstrap system
I like the glock, but the M&P system is the easiest and smartest system. no tools required is nice.

I'll try and play with an 2.0 soon. you make a compelling argument.

If the Glock is so great why did the army take the p320

Program cost was lower on the Sig, do you think the military cares about handgun functionality? Price always wins mil contracts.

I came here to post this but user beat me to it. The 2.0 is great.

Y’all just don’t understand tasteful Italian aesthetics

>broomhandle ergos but it works
>Beretta Plan B, totally as good as the m9a3 we swear
>Needed a mid-life refresh like a car because they screwed so many parts of the design up, including the stupid 9mm barrels
>DA/SA frame with striker because Sigfags will buy anything. "Oh it shoots so well!" No shit, so does a P226.

Skip all of them.

I unironically like the APX

SD9VE>Glock 19

They're g-r-r-r-ross!

In a shittier gun contest maybe

G17>APX>M&P 2.0>P320

Solely because it was cheaper. The budget office report even said that while the glock was more reliable and more accurate, it wasn't enough to justify the increased cost.

M&P gets thrown out of every contract it tries to get for being shitty and the APX and P320 are garbage....so Glock I guess

PPQ>G17>M&P2.0>APX>P320

Thats a Q5 Match. its obv better then youre standard glock.

Still, the Q5 is pure sex.

yeah, I love the Q5. The basic-bitch PPQ is still better than Glock though.

>lower bore axis
>comfier grip
>WAY better trigger
>better sights

>lower bore axis
are you for real?

>lower bore axis

Want to know how I know you don't know what you're talking about?

Cz P10 or HK VP9

This. If I had to pick, I'd go VP9. Really close though and both are better than the crap in OP.

Alternatively, ARex Zero 1, lol.

I like my APX but if you wanted it, you should have bought it when there was a magazine rebate going on. Bought mine for $349.

My friend got a new APX a while ago. I told him it was ugly as shit and last I was at the range with him I didn’t even get to shoot it because I was so busy dialing in the sights on three different guns before closing time.

Should I give it a chance? Maybe I would change my mind just by racking the slide once or twice.

Spotted the glockfag

It's better looking than a Glock or a Springfield GRIP ZONE

What's more tasteful to you then? Italians are known for making pretty aesthetic and tasteful things.

no, no it isn't. it's fucking hideous.

P10c
VP9 trigger is gritty trash and has a retarded mag release. It is comfier to hold but that's it.

Well my trips confirm it, so there.
