i took my first range trip today... i sighted my BUIS as well as i could. i had to leave early for family stuff. i forgot my loctite for the BUIS and didn't bring a screwdriver but i borrowed one at the range.

it gets pretty hot in in north texas so i'll go earlier in the day in the next couple of weeks. 308 kick isn't so bad when firing from the bench. it didn't occur to me to try to shoot standing up - next time for sure.
