>GUNDAM
Why did gundam seed had to be so good and the sequel so pig disgustingly bad ? As a non burger speaker I even switched to burger language during military moments so it would look more leggit.
>"Atterissage" meh
>"MAKING PLANETFALL" muh dick
None. You have to be 18 to post here, and adults need to grow out of children's cartoons.
Go to bed, old timer.
>children's cartoons.
YOU LEAVE MY POTATOES ALONE GRANDPA
Jow Forumsino's Journey
Girls Last Tour
GATE
SEED was bad. Gundam, mobile suit, and ship designs were fucking awesome but the rest is fucking terrible.
>GATE
Not on my watch. This shit is obviously bad and a Japanese military virgin's wet dream.
A real patrician anime is drifters.
Big O
>all others are gay ass fuck
Gunslinger Girl was pretty good
So is Gunsmith Cats
It only gets bad near the end when 3 teenagers can defeat 2 planet's worth of space armies in their ultimate final clash for survival just because. Until that it's really good especially until the cyclop trap in alaska.
Don't bother asking, every time I come into this thread the recommendations are the trashiest shit ever.
damn. i only watched black lagoon
Watch drifters my man. It's more about the bellicist theory of States building than weapons but it's Jow Forums as fuck. I'd say it's even more Jow Forums than Jow Forums. And in which anime would you see an unholy alliance of oiled gay men with muskets, elves with grenades and dwarves shock troops under the command of Nobunaga in Germania capital of the State created by Hitler 50 years prior fight against the goblinoid legions of litteral JESUS CHRIST as a necromancer/biomancer leading an industrial revolution in the monsters' wasteland ?
Shouldn't you be washing you mom's car to be making rent money right now?
The tank combat is very well animated
trips of truth, actually the reason I own a P239, i just wish i had the two tone, going to give it to my daughter when she is old enough
jormungand is really good, but anons hate it because of the protagonists autistic plot
Gunslinger girl is pretty good, but honestly it really focuses more about how the girls are government trained cyborgs used for the dirty deeds rather than just typical "cute girl+good gun action"
Also the first season is way better than the second.
There's one called Gunslinger Girl, I'd imagine that would be pretty Jow Forums. I don't know much about anime.
There are a few moments where CGI is visibly awful, but generally speaking the animation is actually amazing given whats going on and what is being animated.
Good stuff, and very enjoyable.
Desert Punk was probably the best anime I've ever watched. Pretty close at least.
Mom doesn't pay me tendies anymore. I'm on strike for now.
>now that I've posted my opinion, time to get back to the bachelor and game of thrones
what does /ak/ think about Hisomaso?
Set on a japanese airforce base, it follows female "D-Pilots", JASDF members who get selected by dragon-type pokemon who are hidden and kept secret from the world by dressing them up as military aircraft and having them piloted by the D-Pilots.
Piloting the dragons involves being vored.
>saoshit
Get the fuck out, kid.
No, it’s cringe as fuck.
psycho-pass
its an detective anime in future. not really gun related, more detective looking for a murder in a city full of cameras that calculated likelihood of an individual committing a crime by measuring mentalities of the brain.
main bad guy beliefs killing people is normal, therefore he is mentally stable. since he is mentally stable, the cameras cant see him
fucking shit my hands are small
I personally like it, but only because I watch anime mostly for the cute girls doing cute things, like other anons have said in the past, if i wanted violent action movies I would just watch something else. also I like the cover of france gall songs in the ending theme. its also a very comfy anime
the humor is also pleasing to me
After i read the manga i realized how fucking rushed the anime was. They skipped some arcs and some others were different from the animation, although it had the same ending. Also the best part of it it's literally after *spoiler alert* Kanta betrays them and a WorldWar erupts.
>le schoolgirls with gunz that weight 4x than themselves
I fucking hate this, nowadays it's only that and nobody wants to make one about nowadays geopolitical shenanigans. The closest one we got from that in the latest years was Jormungand.
>drifters
I LOVE IT!
the best gundam series by far was zeta, anything in the UC universe that was done by tomino is god teir gundam, though after war gundam x wasn't bad.
You're all faggoty weebs, why hasn't this been posted yet
got sidetracked by all the MOE and forgot
srry senpai
love u bb post more
the animation is probably the best I have ever seen in an anime, and the Jow Forums theme is the icing on the cake
Sounds better honestly, moeblob shit is only good for so long.
Only good K anime is Jourmaund
Full metal panic
Would have liked that show if the main character wasn't such an unlikable retard. She single-handedly ruined the show for me.
Gate is trash
A lot if /k thinks the ending is retarded but it actually is 100% correct. The problem us the show doesn't explain Democratic Peace Theory to justify this premise
The ed theme and dancing are both adorable and wholesome as fuck
What is this from
probably spriggan, judging by the file name
Spriggan, was originally released as Striker in the US during the early 00s and had a lot changed since the original version had a pretty heavy anti-American message.
Are there Animes with a Stalker-like Atmosphere?
Texhnolyze kinda has that Stalker feel at points
Rewatching Highschool of the Dead right now and I forgot how fun it was.
Some retarded inaccuracies but you can't go wrong with guns and tiddies.
>tfw they stopped making p239s
Darker than Black, but it's more Roadside Picnic than STALKER
Cowboy Bebop (TV show and movie)
Trigun (TV show and Badlands Rumble)
Ghost in the Shell (any and all versions)
Gunsmith Cats (also Riding Bean)
Appleseed (2004)
Desert Punk (mediocre, but good for guns)
Mezzo DSA (also the Mezzo Forte OVA if you like hardcore porn with your guns)
It's good, just not very Jow Forums. But I really want 3 inch SP101 now.
it does look comfy inside those dragons desu
I did not like psycho pass it felt way too shounen after the first few episodes
What anime is this?
Wolf brigade is super gay
Talking about Jin-roh the gooks are doing a live action adaptation.
>ctrl+f
>golgo
>0 results
WTF?
Live adaptations of animes can be good or bad . Terraformars wasn't bad IMO, other adaptations such as FMA are terrible.
Interesting that Koreans are doing it.
made in abyss, starts out moe collecting artifacts anime, but then gets turned up to maximum edge halfway through the season.
>poor mitty
how will it compare to stray dog: kerberos panzer cop
youtube.com
Absolute Mary Sue I couldn't watch it because he is such a fucking mary sue
>GATE
t. Shinzo Abe
>that early 90s aesthetics and Winspector tier music
Right in the feels, thanks.
The ending is retarded, fully pants on head retarded. Taking a way the ability to use satellites and GPS would only be a short term annoyance. We have flown aircraft and sailed the seas long before computers, and we have set foot on the moon with extremely primitive electronics.
Didn't bother me but I see your point.
No one posted Full metal Panic or the spin off series fumofu?
****SPOILER******
IIRC the entire premise of the system was to be able to jam any electronic signal, meaning 75% of modern technology would just fail to work unless the protagonist wanted it to, and as a result commerce would be slowed to a halt as people could not conduct high speed communications (basically trying to use WW1 era technology to operate a 2000s technological society) and all modern military systems would be widely impractical
the idea was to create a benevolent dictatorship because of kokos hate for war, so she was going to take matters into her own hands and force warring factions to put down their guns against one another
girls last tour
>unknown dangers lurk behind every corner in an abandoned city
>a mysterious force is at work
>existentialism
>milsurp all around
It would only be computers, especially ones that can transmit information, I don't care what bullshit she could pull, you can't hack something that can't transmit info.
>Season 3
>Jonah witnesses the absolute chaos and death that Koko's plan has brought
>Most nations have whent back to 50's era aircraft completely negating the satellites
>Koko goes full retard, and pretty much fries all computers killing millions of people
>Jonah leaves Koko forever, and turns himself in
>he joins a international task force MJOLNIR to track Koko down
>he kills the Squad one by one
>final showdown
>Valmet and Jonah get into a knifefight
>Jonah wins but is mortally wounded
>Koko completely breaks down, seeing everyone dead and finally realising that War is human nature
>she destroys Jormungand and then kills herself
thats in the manga right?
This is exactly what I am talking about. You can sense the grease on this guy's fingers as he excitedly taps away about his favorite fantasy world anime attempting to link it to Jow Forums in order to give him legitimacy to recommend it. Buddy, your anime is cringe, it's garbage, and it's not worth anyone's time. Berserk is the only acceptable anime with a fantasy setting.
No mention of Gyakusatsu Kikan?
youtube.com
>people have literal memes to commit genocide
Nah, Jow Forums would have found that shit out if it did exist.
Yesss, loved this show's A E S T H E T I C
I thought it was pretty good, main character could get a little annoying sometimes but its all good.
Is the Jow Forums stuff just one extended scene and everything else isn't? I've been meaning to watch this but it seems like one of those movies where there's just one scene that actually qualifies as Jow Forumsino.
its a pretty good anime, basically hunting down a terrorist who sells a cookie cutter speech that causes civil unrest and murder to dictators (a little heavy on the scifi side) but pretty Jow Forums gunfights
Ghost in the shell has some good gun fights, but desu, I thought the sequel (innocence) was much better youtube.com
>they start shooting kids
HOLY SHIT.
Nah, Jow Forums's too busy circlejerking to know that.
Well, there's a couple more gunfights there IIRC. There's also a bit of discussions with philosophy too like Ghost in the Shell. Nice anime IMO.
Oh and GitS too, that's a pretty fun anime.
Look cool.
one of the themes is the whole "just following orders" concept
>not revealing the ultimate weapon of deterrence
>METAL GEAR
No. Democratic Peace Theory states that the more democracies there are the more peaceful the world is. Democracies don't go to war especially not against each other. The resources might be worth the loss of life to the rulers, but not to the voters whose sons and husbands and father's lives Are on the line.
But with the use of drones and guided weapons with complete air superiority brings about the age of "immaculate warfare". You can bomb anyone with no risks. Thus is where Democratic peace theor y breaks down. How many Americans are unaware that we are even bombing Yemen? It wouldn't stop war but would make it a bloody afair again
The theory has glaring flaws just from a cursory look. Several of them inherent to democracy itself.
Jin Roh Wolf Brigade.
The final episode where they mention they can't kill humans got my sides.
I don't agree with the theory but if you accept that theories premise then the conclusion if the shoe us valid: as war becomes messy and both sides take casualties, the public becomes averse to fighting them. Eg Vietnam
waith theres a movie about this?
Warfare then just shifts to espionage and proxy wars like how syria and ukraine is really a battle between larger powers outsourcing their fighting
