Yep, she was the only white one in the litter and the breeder basically gave her away because of it. Jokes on her though, she's one of the most gentle, obedient, loving dogs I've ever met. She's three year old now and finally calming down a bit, I'm looking forward to doing off leash training with her so she doesn't have to stay on leash when we go camping.

They really are the best dogs on the face of the planet. Training him was more like having a conversation with a good friend than giving commands. Even to the point where he eventually decided that he was old enough a the rules didn't apply to him anymore- but he never did anything "bad," just chose for himself when he was allowed to sneak food off the counters. Every time my fiancee leaves for a 24 hour shift, my dog, without fail, will fucking wake me up crying and barking at around 11:00-11:30pm because she wants to go outside to pee or poop. This never fucking happens whenever she's home for the night. It doesn't matter if I take her out before I go to bed, she always fucking does it and she absolutely does not stop until I come downstairs to take her out. I've seriously waited an hour once and she never shut the fuck up- she just wails harder and louder. It's absolutely maddening.
I love this animal but sometimes she makes me want to punt her into the fucking freeway

had this big boy for almost three years now. He was a rescue, I'd guess that he's between 6 and 8.
He was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy two weeks ago. Basically an enlarged heart with thin muscle walls. It hits this breed pretty hard. Over time the heart swells and swells like a balloon because it isn't strong enough to pump blood out of itself. He's probably got a good couple months left in him and then it's all over; his heart will just give out.
He's the most gentle and loving dog I've ever met or had in my life. A huge sweetheart. I'm spoiling him now. He doesn't really know anything is wrong with him besides that he must feel a bit winded all the time and sometimes has fainting spells. One of these days he just isn't going to wake up. It's going to be hard dealing with him dying suddenly, but I'm sure as hell not going to deny him all the life he can enjoy before that day.

Buddy had a cat. They found it as a kitten outside under their junker car parked off to the side of the house. Only a few weeks old and in the middle of -10 winter. Poor little fucker was half frozen when they brought it inside and they thought he died because he would not move or seem to breathe. Few hours later he woke up and was licking everyone. That tenacious son of a bitch lived to 16 years old. He literally would not die. It wasn't even old age. He got ran the fuck over. 16 years and freezing to death and he was still ticking. That cat is my spirit animal. RIP Rex.
