Russians wearing multicam

i get adopting things like picatinny rails, i get using molle gear, i get using honestly useful things.
but why the hell do Russians use western camoflauge? they have some pretty great alternatives themselves like SURPAT.

most importantly, camoflauge is a pretty distinguishing thing for modern soldiers.

>western camoflauge
it was made my a private company you fucking retard

"Sergey when we go full Red Dawn how can we best camouflage ourselves to the amerikanski?"

"By looking like them!"

"But won't that just mean our men will shoot eachoter by mistake?"

"Maybe they will shoot eachoter too!"

"Sukin syn you brilliant mother fucker.'

>but why the hell do Russians use western camoflauge? they have some pretty great alternatives themselves like SURPAT.
SURPAT is actually western camouflage as well. All SURPAT is, is MARPAT with French woodland coloring.

>Implying Russia makes good and innovative camo patterns

Rastr is fine. Pretty much a Kryptec's predcessor

>implying they don't
You just haven't seen any because they're that effective.

>implying multicam isnt useful

The company that makes SURPAT doesn't have the capability of mass producing it due to high quality standards when compared to other companies that make uniforms in Russia. Would be cool if they adopted it since it looks pretty awesome, but sadly it's unlikely to happen.

Yeah, honestly aren't there treaties designed for uniformed armies to not do shit like wear the same fucking camo pattern?

>but why the hell do Russians use western camoflauge?
Every Russian operator of SSO can use whatever gear he wants. If they want to use Western clothes, because it's more comfortable, they can do that.

The good news is that the spetsnaz units that are now under the new national guard (Rosgvardia) have this uniform that looks like a blend of Multicam with ATACS, it's called "Moss" here and starting in 2018 it's the official uniform of all spetsnaz units under the Rosgvardia banner, so during the World Cup there will be some guys wearing this uniform near the stadiums and around the city. If proven successful this will bring an opportunity for all spetsnaz unit from FSB to SSO to get a modern uniform that looks cool but still differentiates them from Western SF and makes them unique and recognizable.

SOBR and Vytiaz already abandoned the multicam, so now they will be easily recognizable in Konstantin Lazarev's pictures, lol.

looks like atacs fg which sucks

The russians are right. By looking like the opposition they can create confusion. This is part of the entire maskerovka strategy.

But let's not pretend western special forces don't have their lockers full of russian-style uniforms as well. They just haven't needed them in the desert. That's what the SAA kits are for.

No such thing. The closest you get is the agreement to not wear each others' flags on their uniforms, and the special forces do that on all sides routinely - not to mention removing their own before going into battle. They are fastened with velcro for a reason.

They use m4 rifles too.

It undeniably does, but it's different enough, so it doesn't break any infringements or anything like that.

Every SF in the world wants to use multicam because of Navy SEALs and other American SF, so if Russia move to ATACS style, it becomes unique.

Poland says No.

That's retarded, our specific camouflage has little with our success.

Doesn't comfort have to do with material and cut rather than the pattern??

Compared to other modern camouflage? Not significantly so.

Polish SF uses multicam all the time, you imbecile

Cringe.

>success
>SF and US SOF
pick one

>camoflauge is a pretty distinguishing thing for modern soldiers
If they were going to war against people wearing Multicam, then that would be a concern, but they aren't.
