i pity myself for having watched it. i can understand needing to fight and die and then having to remove carcasses but, why film it and archive it?

isn't all encompassing like todays research capabilities. uses samples and includes vehicles only immobilized in those samples for reference of survivability. which accordingly was 2-2.5 or 50% crew survivability for all mobility kills and up.
probably documented so that forces would be ready for retarded direct armored brigade assaults in korea.
