If you're gonna go though the trouble of having it engraved and custom SE grips made for it, you may as well spend the extra $300 on the base gun and make it a Brigadier instead of using some beat-up surplus 92S.
I already contacted Customized Creationz about engraving my Brigadier, I'm still waiting to hear back from them though.

How bad am i as a person for loving the underlying premise of RE but never really playing the games? between being born a little late for anything but RE4 and hating fixed camera perspectives the games have never been my thing. The movies are shit but OTOH i've got literally every mediocre RE book ever made and have read some of the comics. The idea of a faithful cinematic experience based on the games seems really neat if done correctly IMO.

Try out the HD port of the old Gamecube Remake (should be on the PS4 and XBone), it has the option for somewhat easier controls.
It's a bit clunky and slow at first, but once you get into the swing of things, it starts getting really fun.

Though the remake regrettably doesn't have all the corny old live-action cut scenes or bad voice acting that made the first game feel like a real B horror movie.

Well, I mean, they're *kinda* cool in some ways, because they actually took the time to get actors and make outfits for them and shit, and Chris looks like a fucking badass lighting up that smoke (in the uncensored version), but it also all looks pretty fucking cheap and hokey.

You're willing to get custom grips made, but you're not willing to at the very least get a normal 92FS with a Brigadier slide? It's not exactly a lot of money, and it's a FAR nicer gun.

I saw this 92s at a gun show for 280. The grips cost me 90 dollars. If I was going to do an actual clone, it'd be 1000 for the gun (easier to start with a brig), then a new trigger,new hammer,either new barrel or get stock barrel nickel plated, then pay a lot of money to have the slide ground slick, front serrations added, and new slide marks engraved, then cerakoted black again.

There are multiple RPD pistols... Doesn't mean you have to have the one Jill used.

Also, that movie was awesome, but that scene was so fucking dumb. The scene in the lobby where leon was using the car method and Chris was back to back with him and they killed like 50 zombers, that was a good scene.

Apparently a $500 pistol (as opposed to a $300 used one), a cerakote job, engraving, and grips comes out to $3500. Neat.
