There are. You just have to be in a town near a military base on Veterans or memorial day. The base will usually send a small detachment with a LMTV and a few HMMWV's and a drill team

Protip: Watch St. Patricks day parade in NYC early morning (it's televised), you'll get to see an entire battalion of light infantry march (1/69th Infantry), as well as smaller units from the NYARNG, US Army, Navy, Air Force, USMC and the service academies - by far the largest regular military parade in the US. The next would be St. Patricks day Boston where 1/101st - another infantry regiment from the famed Irish brigade, marches.
Outside of that it's smaller Veteran's and memorial day parades in towns and cities near military bases

signing a contract does not change the fact that much military work is make-belief and the welfare rolls in in during this "service".
many forms of welfare require work, for example, unemployment bennies require agreement of intent to find work, and the money stops if they cannot provide proof of that effort. they sign an agreement on the application. by US law zero-income welfare is temporary, only low-income welfare is extended.
even the civilian welfare queens are more productive than the military tax parasites.
