You'll save more weight buy doing a new build with a modern profile barrel and lightweight Mlok rail. The 300 vs 600 Scout is like a 3.5oz difference if I recall correctly off the top of my head. You can make that up for about the same price while retaining superior light battery life and output by going to a Ti muzzle device and Ti gas block.
My picture related was 6.8lbs loaded, but no weapon light. Maybe call it 7lbs with an M300
