Taxi driver perfectly encapsulates about 90% of Jow Forums. No other movie comes close
>prove me wrong
Are you talkin to me?
I like the part where Jeff gets tired of people waking him up and bump stocks into a movie theater.
Not Jow Forums because he actually got a girl to go on a date with him.
he must be talking to you

Very underrated and stylish. Stairwell fight alone makes it worth it

For those that haven't seen it

den of thieves > heat
Saw it in the theater. It was great. No dull moments in that one.
Tombstone if you're into westerns with wheel and lever gats
bongs were a nation of pussies when that film was made. the contrast between the cool hollywood action and reality was part of the comedy.
that walking scene was so cool, it was used twice.
Guys, I can't tell Japan and England apart anymore.
> weirdo imperialist island
> way too hardcore about personal suffering
> brutally monarcistic
> overrepresented in media
> gave up on invading others following the last war
> cucked ever since
> still gets excited about rando islands on occasion
British are the ones with the mosques and the darkies, Japs are the ones with the homogenous society and astronomically low crime rates.

>Braveheart gets buttmad that Hannibal won't let him suck on sweet brown titties and throws a hissy fit
>after 2 hours of watching white guys sweat, the only action is one dude getting stabbed by a bunch of natives
>somehow better than a movie of "Cat and also Cat," based off the greatest historical novels ever written
I like the Bounty, but it's not even close. M&C is literally the perfect Naval movie. Also, if you don't think ~10 tons of iron and wood smashing each other to pieces at pistol shot range, followed by a hot and sweaty boarding, is the most Jow Forums shit ever you can get the fuck out of my face.
I submit The Duelists as another excellent movie about the era. An outstanding movie by any standard, and anyone who hasn't seen it is doing themselves a grave injustice.
Honestly for home gimmicky it was, I found it super entertaining.
Checked
there are really good movies mentioned in this thread
No, it is a Diehard prequel.
My nigger. You have taste. Also conrad is a great writer and the duelists is based on real events.
My favorite scene is the one duel indoors it starts in middle they are both dizzy and covered in blood and still going at it with sabres
*Die Hard
>In 1986, a sequel was written by Steven E. de Souza, and revised by Frank Darabont, with an eye to having John McTiernan direct. The script was based on the book 'Nothing Lasts Forever' (1979) by Roderick Thorp, but Schwarzenegger wasn't interested in reprising the role. The script was then reworked with a new central character, eventually played by Bruce Willis, and became Die Hard (1988).
THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING
GO WATCH IT FAGGOTS.
Fuck DiNero
DiNero was arrested for pedophilia in Paris in the 1970s but he was able to bribe his way to a charge of prostitution
the movie moved me; I ended-up w/ a Dodge M-37 like in da movie
Shit's overrated as all fuck.
>Atomic Blonde
Also higher IQs than most of the planet
Gloria was based on a true incident, good story
33 years ago; she's 60 now
Savior with Dennis Quaid
>Quaid's wife and son die in religion of peace bombing in Paris
>Quaid shoots up mosque after his family's funeral
>His buddy takes him away before he can be arrested and Quaid joins the French Foreign Legion
>Quaid gets sent to Bosnia fighting for Bosnian Serbs
I don't hate the story, I just really really hate Andrew Garfield's face
What happened to you Dillon?
exactly this, go back to red_dit with that hipster shit
Looks based af. Reminds me of an overlooked gem, probably because the title is gay.
Frailty with Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey.
>Bill gets a vision from God that he is to axe murder demons in humanflesh
>Has a divine hitlist
>Travels with his kids killing them
>Never sure if he is actually insane
Fuck off, Chuck.
Cross of Iron
great movie, filmed in Canada
A lot of Jow Forums types hated this movie because "muh girl power", but this is one of the best "realistic" fight scenes put to film. It's just wonderfully messy, like the bit where she pulls a perfect tacticool knife disarm and then screams because she got her hand sliced open doing it.
Savior has some pretty brutal scenes of violence suffered by civilians on all sides of the Bosnian conflict. If you don't mind that its a great film. Its one of the only films that doesn't only portray violence by the Serbs.
Honestly never noticed that part before, but I love how when he pulls out the knife and swings, she's frantically pulling back trying to avoid it and not just TACTICOOL disarming the second she sees it. Or the fct that anyone of the henchmen could kill her 1v1, she just kept getting lucky or a single cheap hit in. Shit like that made the movie dope.
