when shits gonna hit the fan you'll wish you where "larping" in the forest with your local militia before shit got bad faggot you will die while we will thrive

Need recommendations for 8x6 ESAPI side plate pouches. The only ones I can find are HSGI, was curious if there were any more mfg's that have an offering.
Is there such a thing as a prepacked ifak? I'd rather not have to buy everything separate it's a bit low
Chase Jackson
That isn't a coincidence, just so you know the AR is the best tactical rifle available in the current year, and the boys in here are going for performance.
Kevin Bell
There's no difference in gear, aside from pouches and even then, most intermediate caliber rifles can use the same pouches.
Yes expect to spend a bit. Anything you don't put together yourself is automatically $50 bucks more than you'd think.
Elijah Flores
I bet you use an SKS
Zachary Kelly
Bought a CompTac a while back, just haven't gotten around to changing it out yet. Might do that tonight. Good or bad buy? I like it on my belt well enough.
Lets hear your suggestions Jow Forums. I have a plain MICH. what should I get to class it up?
Leo James
Help me GQ, you're my only hope.
I'm transferring to a career as a keyboard warrior (for the most part) but will sometimes need to travel with my work PC, and also need to commute with it on weekdays. I need a professional looking bag that isn't covered in MOLLE straps or multicam.
I'm trying to find a well made bag with a padded laptop pouch that doesn't scream tactical. It MUST also have 2x zip up/fastex side pouches.
Please, no bullshit Condor, 5.11, or Victorinox bags. I want something that will last, and won't fall apart from work trips.
Dylan Gonzalez
Just as an example, if this had side pockets it would be perfect:
Unless you're okay with front pockets, you're kind of out of luck then, I don't think there's a single pack that doesn't have molle or velcro with proper side pockets.
Not cargo pants, nerd. Cheap Columbia climbing shit.

We're talking about an office dress code with an expectation of starched and pressed button up shirts, a tie, and pressed slacks on a normal day, and a full matching suit, vest optional, when conducting business/interviews outside the office.
Hiking pants aren't going to cut it.
Jason Howard
>vest optional
I'm sorry. I hope you're into that, because I can and do work in pyjamas.
Juan Martin
It took some adjusting, but the job is cool as fuck and the pay is great. I ain't even mad.
Winters are cold, my nod to Jow Forums is a reproduction WWI British khaki wool great coat.
Jaxson Richardson
hmm it's like most of us live in the USA and ARs are a popular and cheap platform to use.
sell it and get a lighter helmet. if not get, team wendy cam fit and epic air liner; if you feel like wasting your money.
could be like me, barely buttoned dresshirt, crye FR ACs and flip flops.
Agreed. They lack nips, because they assume that anyone who buys armors lacks lacs.
Bentley James
Also I can telework twice a week, so I guess I could technically work naked on those days?
Aaron Thompson
Drunken DIY for the night lol. CompTac's female chicago bolt has big ass teeth that grip into the kydex and had to beat it out, luckily still have some from some past project. And this leftover strap is 100% trash. Will make proper when physically able.
Real quick. What’s the name of that belt with all the holes for pouches and holsters and stuff?
Ryan Turner
Pretty sure you're thinking of Belt With Holes™. The Belt™ I bought was one of their holiday bundles, so it came with two Pouches™ and a Holster™ for my guns and ammo, and had no problem getting them woven through the Holes™. A little pricey for what it is but I'd buy it again.
Nolan Lopez
Wait wasn’t that directed by Michael Bay?
Henry Sullivan
No, that was 13 Hours: Guys with Belts™ and Guns™.
Connor Robinson
Im hearing the double strap is bad for dropleg holsters. Why are single straps better? My arms are very long and I wear a rain jacket or carhartt under my plate carrier. If I wore a regular belt holster I wouldn’t be able to draw without moving the jacket out of the way
Conservation of movement You usually have to bend down to grab your side arm instead of just reaching Plus it is annoying to run with a drop leg and double straps
Jose Thomas
It’s not about how many straps there are, it’s about how far down on your leg it is. The further away from your waist you pistol gets, the more it’s going to rock back and forth as you walk and run. You might as well go ahead and buy a cheap one so you can find out the hard way, people usually have to.
Jackson Taylor
never tried the revolver system but the epir air has more adjustment pads so you can dial in a better fit. I had to use a blend of the regular and thin comfort pads for my epic air to have a perfect fit.
Aaron Thomas
So can a single drop get as low as a double strap leg drop? Such as pic related
Im eye balling a pair of dual comm comtac 3s but I only have one radio. If I only have one lead connected, do I still only hear the radio out of one ear?
Matthew Peterson
Because people constantly wear them too low. A good draw height for a dropleg should be if you can keep your spine perfectly straight and reach down and comfortably rest your hand on the grip of the gun without having to stretch your arm out.
Any lower than that is unnecessary, and that drop can be accomplished by single strap droplegs. I wore an issued Blackhawk dropleg in the Army (no choice to this piece of gear) and on of the best adjustments to it was to entirely remove the top thigh strap and the vertical buckle assembly; wearing it high with a single thigh strap and with the vertical strap looped directly through my belt was far better of a setup. This is assuming that a standard duty drop adaptor for your belt is off the table.
Next time you see somebody with a dropleg sitting on their mid thigh, watch them draw their pistol. They’ve got to lean their whole body over to the side. Very doofus move.
Matthew Sullivan
You don’t want it that low. A dropleg should really only be used when you need a couple more inches than a belt drop platform can give you. You don’t need the gun sitting mid-thigh.
The higher it sits to your centre of gravity, the less it will move and offset your own movement.
Wear any drop style holster as high as you can make it go.
Cooper Nelson
Good job on that custom work there user. I'm starting to become more of a stitch bitch after putting some pads on my chicom due to the joy of screwing with your gear after a couple beers.
>pic semi related, threw in my foot per tradition
Also any body ever use aws's rifle mag pouches? I'm tired of my hypalon shit and really like their pistol pouches.
