1 position out from fully extended

Is this a thinly veiled manlet hate thread?

5'10, and all the way out. Thats just what works best with irons for my eyes, I want a red dot.

>t.manlet

6'1
fully extended

5'11 I use a fixed stock.

No. Just wanted to know, because i'm 5'8, and fully extended feels the best. Seems kind of weird for someone my height

4 or 5 depending on how much clothing I'm wearing.

Also NTC.

What position represents an A1 style stock?

6'6"
I use a commercial stock

How thick are those Carharts(?) big guy?

All the way collapsed or 1 position from that

6’0.5” Fully extended or 1 in.

Same

6'4"
Fully extended.

Feels small to me, but my little brother is 6'8" and he doesn't find it uncomfortable, so I probably just have the wrong frame of reference.

Same height.
Fully extended

Everything else is uncomfortable

5"7
all the way in
>and yet i prefer the SA80 LOP somehow

5 out for a1
a2 is fully extended

5'9"
Fully extended, with iron or rds
TFW orangutan arms

5'10" usually fully collapsed but sometimes a click or 2. I also enjoy the A2 fixed... so whatever, fuck me I guess.

72.5 inches. Fully closed. My service carbine has a Matech rear sight and an ACOG on it so extending the stock isn’t an option. Fully extended when using ironsights though.

To all the people running your stock all the way out or close to all the way out do you actually square up to the target when you shoot or do you do this shit?

5 11' master race fully extended like the designers intended

>72.5 inches
aren't you a special little snowflake

Same

6'2, 3rd position.

5'11" (King of Manlet)
Fixed AK NATO length, I do find if I have my chest rig/plate carrier on Warsaw length feels better but NATO length still works with PC/CR

I fucked up and forgot the pic

6'0 fully extended

Well I'm not wearing armor when I shoot so I don't need to square up

Missionary

All the way out.

5'9 manlet
All the way out baby.

Square, left foot forward, right big toe even with arch of left foot or left heel. Kind of a boxer stance.

I thought a1 was longer? I thought that's why old people complained about the switch to a2

5-11 3rd position from closed, i also love the standard wasrsaw pact length of ak stocks

>5'8"
>have fixed stock
I don't know.

Honestly, I don't think it's weird if you are using stock old school irons. With a red dot, eh...

did you say,... extension?

>benis

Attached: pepe.jpg (600x600, 27K)

Yeah didnt mean to imply its a bad thing. I shoot my shotguns like that but it feels weird for an AR

A2 is longer and people complained because the added length did two things:
>exacerbated the noseheaviness of the rifle brought about by the gov't profile barre
>was designed to be used in a bladed, rather than squared position which the doctrinal changes stemming from the advent of mass-issued bodyarmor made impossible

AK guy here, all the way in always. Your optic can be mounted further forward for proper eye relief, mounting optics far back on the reciever extending the stock is unnecessarily extending the practical length of the rifle.

6'1"
A1 stock/5th position on collapsible

>6”3’
>Fixed buttstock
Get rid of your training stocks and get a mans buttstock

6'0" 1 in from full

I shoot in sort of a boxers stance, with my side present towards the target, support hand far out as possible

6'1"
I use an a2 stock so I'll be comfy when i get my rhodie length battle raifu

6'.
Fully extended. Anyone who doesn't use it fully extended is a commie.

Post your guns.

Depends what sights or optics are in use.

5'10" four out from closed when wearing a T-shirt, one out from closed with a plate carrier on.

5'11"

Position 3 when I have the stock closer to center line (more on the pec than in the shoulder pocket) All the way out if I want to be able to trap the stock in my elbow for mag changes.

Anywhere in between works but I find that the closer I bring the gun to centerline the less effort I need to put into managing recoil.

Fully extended if shooting irons, fully collapsed if shooting with a red dot.

6' 1", all the way extended, or 2 clicks in with the meme carrier

>6'2"
>never used any setting but the farthest back

You should be running it all the way in if possible because body armor and keeping the overall length as short as possible.

5'9 fully extended, anything else is wrong.

Fully Extended for my long fuckin monkey arms

5'9. fully collapsed, spent 3 years in crutches and this feel most comfortable

5'10"
Fully collapsed for HD gun
A2 length for everything else.

5'7" A2 stock.

6'4 (6'10 wingspan), all the way out

5'11, fully extended when shooting at a range, cuz I don't blade my stance, but when it's beside my desk I keep it at the shortest, so its small and quick for possible nigger ventilation.

6'3 fully extended

5'5", it's either 2-3 out if I'm standing or out all the way if I'm bench shooting.

yes i know, i just have a weird style of shooting
its a mix of western and eastern

I really think you are blading to require that much stock.

If A2 were shorter than A1 then why does A2 use the same receiver extension but requires a receiver extension spacer?

It's a little too short on the basic bitch stocks, but I do have a SOPMOD one that seems just a touch larger and comfortable.
Next AR, I'm deciding between a UBR and VLTOR's buffer tube.

Alright you muff-huffers, theres a excerpt out there from a SF oper8r where it was said that the stock positioning is typically best when you can hold your arm at a right angle, holding on to the grip, and the stock touches the crease in your arm, its meant for easy concealment mostly, but carry on

6' i dunno nigger i bought this shit from russians. It smells like sardines.

6'0" manlet here, I want to shoot with it extended all the way out but the other guys at the range laugh at me when I do and reach down and retract it by a couple notches while I'm trying to shoot
