If you're going with one gun only, might as well get a 590A1. The tang safety and trigger guard are metal and the barrel is heavier. They also make plenty of versions that have bayonet lugs and heat shields.

Probably a quality build DI AR10 or AR15 with some kind of 1-6x or 1-8x

How exactly would you stretch a .22lr to 300 with any decent accuracy? I thought around ~150 it started to usually go to crap accuracy wise.
Not saying a suppressed .22 wouldn’t be good for such a situation, they can be mouse fart quiet and could be good for an ambush or being super stealthy.

A .357 lever-gun with an accompanying revolver. It's a short range tool but having shot .22lr lever-guns all my life I prefer the platform/weapons system/dragon dildo.

Have fun carrying those heavy shells and not being able to hit anything beyond 100 yards. Shotguns are an awful choice for bugging out and it's very likely you will have to at some point.

You can hunt anything from squirrels (plenty of meat left if you shoot in the head) to bears (multiple shots, unethical but who fucking cares in a situation like this?) with 5.56 if needed be.

Get real son, I was in the Swedish nationalguard were I saw everyone from old scrawny men to young blonde cuties carry a G3 for days and shoot drills all day without problems, if you train with your gun you build muscles for just that task and dont need big buff arms
