Nicole a cute

He told me the MRO was shit for NVG use in TS. He was probably right.

I'd kove for segregated bathrooms to keep the niggers from dirtying them up.

>segregated bathrooms
Not taking it far enough
segregated counties, states, countries

The MRO is shit for any use.

That is his clone. GT is a collector as well.

Holosun

is a good budget red dot

The spread between LaRue and ADM is overblown.

Eotechs on risers supposedly work decent. You want big windows, short tubes to make it easier to align, NV brightness settings, and height.

ADM is good to go.

I can't think of a bigger waste of money
why don't you buy one and tell us how it is?
a $600 AR is pretty much the minimum for relatively reliable quality control

>Eotechs on risers supposedly work decent.
The EOTech works pretty well as a passive sight ICW the PVS-14. I use a 5/8" or 3/4" riser.

>buying anthing at a guns store

seriously $200 extra is not a reasonable convenience fee

Do you weapon mount the PVS14 or helmet mount? I've got a sweet manual gain tube that I've been saving up for a housing for.

>Do you weapon mount the PVS14

baton rouge or pensacola?

BR

ah okay
I've been to the one in pensacola
they've actually got some nice stuff there

5.56 doesn't have much though, and aren't they spring loaded/ recoiling managing mounts?
Just wondering. A2 called me retarded the other night for even bringing it up, but I only did so because he was REEEEing at the recent proliferation of nods and weapon mounting seems like a good way to avoid using a laser.

Attached: 20180621_222052.jpg (918x1632, 450K)

to be fair though some of their accessories aren't too bad and I've always been treated right by them. Bought a few guns from them too. Just have to double check since they do tend to have a some insane mark ups sometime.

>why don't you buy one and tell us how it is?
that's all the convincing I need. I'll give it a go and let you guys know if it's a massive piece of shit or not.

you just generally don't want to mount it on a rifle

godspeed

good night

None of my mounts have cants like that. Did you tighten the shit out of it?
peace

WGWS probably torqued on it like a dumbass

you didn't tighten it after the mount was closed, right?

The fact that Larue mounts can even be torqued like that is hilarious
Would never happen with ADM :^)

I hope you don't wake up!

Anyone got a LaRue LT150 30mm mount or an ADM AD-68 PRO/ CompM2 mount?
Looking for a PRO mount.

Thanks man. I should be getting some legitimate groups with it soon in the next couple of weeks with a variety of ammunition, a shooting sled, and an indoor 100 yard range. After that I'm taking it out to a place that goes out to 1000m, so I'm stoked. I also built a swift clip chest rig for it.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I know that PVS14s in particular are not designed for weapon mount, but I feel like weapon mounted NVGs that are purpose designed definitely have some merit.

Did not tighten the shit out of it by any stretch. Did not tighten the adjustment nut with it clamped down. The clamping mechanism of LaRue cants by design.

Need some advice, /ARG/ lads. Is the FOSTECH Echo AR-II trigger group worth it if it's on sale and I don't already have a trigger group for an AR build? Or is it not worth it? Primary use is fun, maybe 3-gun down the line sometime.
Also, I'm planning to get Magpul furniture and my upper/lower/handguard are already cerakoted forest green. Which would be more asthetically pleasing: olive drab furniture that doesn't quite match, or tan that provides contrast?
A loli SCAR for your time.

Franklin BFS gets better reviews. I had a buddy who had a BFS. With the right gas system and some tuning you can get them running decently fast and reliable. Check out Michael Bell's channel on youtube, and this Webm.

if one were to start a build with an 80 lower, what brands should you look at? any to avoid?

need to work out them triceps. There is a bit of a jiggle there

Do you weapon mount the PVS14?
I, for the most, part agree with Suchka on this - though I do have one weapon rated tube. I helmet mount and use the EOTech essentially the same as I would during the daytime, albeit a little slower. For this application I find it faster than the Aimpoint Comp M2. Recoil damage will typically result in black, permanent splatter randomly formed somewhere near the center of the image (because that is where the MCP will flex the most). I recommend against weapon mounting a PVS-14 unless you truly understand your system and know what you are doing. You may get away with it forever - you may not, and it is a fairly large gamble. I assume you have an MX-11769 tube. I would recommend an MX-10160 if you need to weapon mount it. You lose so much flexibility, anyway, that a weapon mounted PVS-14 is really only good for overwatch. I have seen effective use of this where the user had both a helmet mounted PVS-14 ICW the weapon mounted PVS-14 but he was an experienced used.

what stock and upper is this?
from the last thread.

Attached: 1530066338765.jpg (3840x2160, 2.37M)

>5.56 doesn't have much though
Look again. The overall recoil impulse, as perceived by a human being, is very small. There is, however, a very short high amplitude recoil impulse that is typically much higher than a .308. You won't feel it, because it is averaged across several milliseconds, but it can induce damage to the tube. Pic related is not specific to this application but is an example to illustrate that the impulse is averaged across a fairly large time base, but the spike can still kill something that cannot stand the peak force. IDK if I am explaining this well enough. It was confusing when I first heard about it.

Strike ind stock

i guess if its out of spec, itd be on the builder of the 80. ill check them out. any other names or decent deals any of you guys know of?

Yeah I've got an 11769
Hopefully getting a housing in the next month or so if other shit during 4th of July sales doesn't drain the wallet.

A single helmet mounted for nav and scanning and then a weapon mounted would be neat once you got good at it. No laser, proper cheek weld and shouldering, still have an open eye for admin tasks.

No idea on upper. Stock looks like Strike Industries. Chink airshit. Rifle overall is shit. Avoid almost everything on there.

Interesting. You explained it fine, thank you.

Attached: 20180225_125121.jpg (1281x831, 579K)

that stock gets my dick hard

Ewwwwwwww

>>aren't they spring loaded/ recoiling managing mounts?
Some dude did a couple of decent one-offs. Other than that, I have not seen shit. You still run into the possibility that you will induce a large recoil spike if the system is not designed properly. I have no idea what the recoil tolerance of an 11769 tube is in the inverse direction of standard recoil, so I would really watch for that. If he has that sweet Jew money then he should build himself a nice 11769 for helmet use and an old 10160 for weapon mount if he needs to go that direction.

I want gucci, but don't want to pay for gucci.
what do? does anyone make a knockoff?

>Is the FOSTECH Echo AR-II trigger group worth it?
It will always be a toy. You may run into issues at a 3Gun event whereby they split hairs and consider an extra round to be an AD. I would talk to the event coordinators about it before I used one in a comp.

hkparts.net/shop/pc/HK-MR556-416-AR15-M4-Stock-PDWC-2p17754.htm

Not as expensive as the Maxim, but still expensive.

This one is cheaper, but might be hard to find in stock, and isn't actually much shorter than a normal stock.

Consider just getting a Magpul SL-K or an LWRC UCIW

My magpul mbus sight, has a little back, and fourth wiggle in the bigger aperture ring. The wiggle goes away when I switch back to the small aperture. Is this normal?

Someone suggest me a good 556 10/10.5 inch upper for this extra colt lower I have lying around

a colt upper

Thanks for the input. It seems like it could be fun, but I'd rather not spend that much on something that's likely to break. I know some use triggers with short pull/quick reset to shoot quickly (a la Geissele S3D), but I'm not really looking for that. I'll keep an eye out for BFS on sale, I guess.
Any opinions on stock/grip color?

thanks

whats its subject matter?
