The stop is wrong. Not an M1. Way to pre-ejaculate your massive IQ all over this thread, dipshit.

Modified M1 Carbine mag

I've already stated its a British weapon.

An L4? Because that's what I'm thinking, I've seen a magazine like it before.

I do have a quick ejaculation problem desu

I see what you are saying, especially in 7.62 nato. But it's still too different to me.

L4 mags aren't as rectangular as the one pictured.

L4 Magazines are curved and are basically just extended L1A1 Magazines

that's an m1 carbine mag

You sure it's british? because if its not an XL64 then it's nothing the MOD used in the last 70 years

Nope, magazines are different.

apperently i was adopted in the 60's

It's snowing outside.

That reminds me I have to pay my property tax. It's roughly 2k

your welcome?

SO we have determined that it is a M1 L4A4 XLR Hybrid gun that was developed in the 60's. Cool.

>308
Hey I have about a thousand cartridges of that still

How long did it take you to throw it together OP?

Its from some shitty page as a question.

fagola

The captcha is a cuck and wont allow me to post the link.

It's ok user you tried. How are you doing?

Hey, could you post a pic with it next to, say, a quarter or your hand or something for a size reference?

I love you user, get some sleep soon.

Definitely not an M1 Carbine mag.
Something closer to 7.62 RFN.

FAL Mag?

not likely

Attached: fnb-magfal20.jpg (1000x1000, 31K)

If it’s something close in size to 7.62 RFN, but has catches that far down the body, it reminds me of an M1A mag but I don’t think they were that far down even on M1As, and they most definitely didn’t have viewing ports.

It could be something experimental but I can’t find any pics that aren’t directly related to the SA80 line and they don’t have any mags that look like that.

Perhaps an early prototype FAL back when they were messing with .280 Brit?

See the issue with the FAL idea is that its Belgium, the page states its of British design.

Could it be part of a spotter’s rifle that goes along with a recoilless rifle?

checked it out but the L2 BAT uses the bren as a spotting rifle

Mag from the MCEM experimental SMG?

FG-42 magazine

Well its got to be something in .303. The feed lips look very similar to the ones on a Lee Enfield Magazine, but since its straight its got to be Pre-Bren gun

thats a big magazine

If it was .303 and that long it'd need to be curved.

My autism is starting to hurt
US T31 Bullpup?

OP, can you measure the dimensions of this mag? Specifically the overall length, width, and most importantly the length and width of the follower if you can?

4 u

Im stumped
Ive been looking for hours to no avail

I would be helpful to see a picture of the follower, a better angle of the magazine catch, and exact dimensions (particularly width). Can't really tell if the notch is a catch or a stop or prevent over insertion.

While it's clearly too big to be from an M1 carbine, that touches on the fact that the shape, contour, and stamping of the magazine suggests it's a straight-walled cartridge. If it was .308, it would probably have at least some curve, or a trapezoidal shape like you see on L1 and L4 mags.

not even close, guy.

Did they not work up prototypes on British should when working on the original L1A1?
Thank you.
